The razor is GREAT but the customer service is TERRIBLE. Closest and smoothest shave I have ever had. My skin is very sensitive and I get razor burn super easily and this razor did not disappoint. That being said, it's super easy to cut yourself so be REALLY careful!
However, my razor started turning black??? Rust maybe? But after only 5 months or so. I reached out asking for a replacement 4 different times and never even got a response. That was a huge disappointment.

Yeah its a scam company

Yeah its a scam company. I ordered November of 2024. I emailed them a month later in December of 2025 because my order did not come in still. Then I received no response. I totally forgot about this order. I was looking through my email today and remembered this company basically scammed me and now i am writing a review so hopefully others don't make the same mistake. f.these guys :).

I placed an order on January 20

I placed an order on January 20, 2026 (Order #104470), and to this day, I have not received my product or any shipping information.
I sent multiple emails and never received a response. Now, their website appears to be out of service, which makes me feel like I lost my money.
This has been a very disappointing experience. I do not recommend buying from this company due to their lack of communication and responsibility toward customers.
I hope someone contacts me to resolve this issue.

Feels more like a scam

Ordered a razor because my sister had bought one previously and recommended but received nothing after a whole month, emailed for information /help twice during this time. First time they responded quickly saying my order was definitely on the way and sorry for the delay but never heard back from them since. Never received any products and no refund so had to go through my bank to recover the funds. A shame because I was looking forward to trying it but would never recommend this company to anyone.

Don’t pay the pink tax

They shipped the product a couple days after purchase but it arrived over a month later. I emailed them for a status update and didn’t get a reply. The shipping email they sent me had a “tracking link” that just led back to their store website. The razor is really nice compared to plastic razors but I basically overpaid for a simple tool and a bunch of razor blades in a pretty package. I pink taxed myself! I bet you can find a men’s razor that’s better and cheaper.

DO NOT BUY!

Placed order in November was forced to pay express delivery which was £8 only to not receive the product till now everytime I’d email the customer care email I’d either get ignored or a lady named Katie Peterson would respond and basically say it’ll be with you soon it was not with me soon and at no Point was I given the delivery date I was asking for and there would never be any progress in me receiving my parcel until after each time I’d emailed it’s like it was forgotten about if I wasn’t constantly emailing. Also don’t be fooled by the free hidden gift as it’s just a 30% off your next order voucher and I will not be ordering again so pointless the exfoliating glove also isn’t good quality it’s literally a thin piece of rough fabric do not recommend would give 0/5 if possible because nothing about this product is worth almost £40 it’s a scam don’t order

Don’t buy Solara razors

I purchased a Solara razor and I’ve had a horrible experience. The customer team is extremely unprofessional and hasn’t been responding to my emails at all. I’ve emailed them numerous times and it’s been almost a month since I’ve been emailing them about my refund and haven’t heard back. I emailed on 07/10/2025 shortly after the razor got delivered and it’s now 03/11/2025 and I still haven’t heard back from them. I also attached proof of delivery and of the razor package. I’ve wasted a lot of money and am incredibly dissatisfied with Solara. A total scam.

Product good, communication re delivery needs attention

I would've given a higher rating had it not been for a lack of communication from the supplier regarding delivery. I was expecting delivery by 7 days but ultimately took 2 weeks.

I bought the product rather impulsively and 2 days afterwards I started having regrets as I had not received an email advising that my product is on its way (usually when ordering online you would receive such a mail within 24 hours). I then read reviews and became very discouraged believing I'd been duped.

I emailed them and received a very professional email from Katie Petersen reassuring me that my order is on its way and she sent me a tracking link. I was still skeptical at this point but finally received the local courier 'out for delivery' email.

The product arrived and the first thing I thought was that not everything was included because there was only 1 rather small box. I opened it and the glove, 40 blades, the 30% discount voucher and the razor were all there. I was pleasantly surprised at the minimal packaging ☺️

As for the shaving experience. I used it following instructions and had no issues whatsoever. It is clear to me that the people reviewing that they cut themselves did not use the razor correctly. Most likely applying too much pressure and or holding the blade at an incorrect angle. Perhaps also using strokes that are too long which increases the chances of varying pressure and angle.

I used 1.5-2 inch strokes, applied no pressure and held it at the correct 30 degree angle. I further rinsed the blade after every 2-3 strokes. The thicker and more dense your hair, the shorter your strokes should be and the more frequently you should rinse the blade - my hair is relatively fine and growth is not dense. I further recommend starting with your legs only until you are comfortable with pressure and angle before progressing to trickier areas like your underarms or bikini line. Extra care should be taken around the ankles and knees for obvious reasons.

Love it

They negative reviews that I found after my purchase scared me. I just used it for the first time today. Easy to put together, qr code on packing. Exfoliation glove, 40 blade replacements. I followed their directions. My legs are extremely smooth, it doesnt clog easily. Missed a few hairs due to me being scared of using too much pressure with this type of razor but 10/10. Shipping took about a week.

They WILL keep your money no matter what.

I bought this razor due to the ads and wanted to return it when I saw it didn't work as I had hoped. Here's my experience with that:
1.) Clicking the return link on their site only takes you to a page to buy more of their razors.
2.) Contacting customer service is met with no possible chance of just getting a refund and returning the items. I explained why I wanted to return them and I got a response a day later saying they'll give me 30% of my money back to keep it. I said I want all of my money back. They bumped it up to 50% after waiting 2 days. I once again repeated that I want my money back. After another email repeating the 50% option, I had to wave the white flag cause it was clear as daylight I wasn't getting my money back and this conversation was getting no where. I made it clear to the person the only reason I said I'll take the 50% was because I see no future where they're going to give me my money back and just send me a return label.

So to sum it up: this razor is horrible, the customer service is horrid, and no matter how much you push to get your money back...you'll never get every cent back. Ever. Go buy Venus or something from the store and save yourself the frustration.

Cannot process a return

The product looks okay but I found it cheaper and more highly reviewed elsewhere so attempted to initiate a return within 5 minutes of placing the order. I emailed, that being the only route of contact for them, 4 times over the following 3 weeks and have still had no response. I would highly recommend staying away from this company and wish I had researched them before purchasing. I do not believe they are legitimate.

As the other reviews say… don’t waste your money!

As the other reviews say… don’t waste your money! Awful razor that cut my legs so much despite having a 0% nic guarantee. The razor has no bend or movement so shaving areas such as your knees is extremely hard. Their customer service is shocking too. I’ve tried emailing to return my product for a refund and no response as of yet… Wish I’d checked the reviews on here before purchasing.

Scam, avoid at all costs

Not all items sent. Product cut my legs like and an old used razor would. Customer service is horrible. Their return policy is 30 days but only if you return product as it was sent to you...unused. how can you test a product if you don't use it. This is a scam. Don't let them take your money, too.

Really impressed!!

I have to say I'm really impressed with this razor!! I bought it on impulse (which I never do!!) and then worried I'd been conned so headed over to Trust Pilot... I was horrified to read the reviews and was convinced I'd wasted my money.

But I was worried over nothing!!!

It took a while to come (maybe 2-3 weeks) but I had email updates during that time. When I used it for the first time I followed all the instructions.. I had a great shave with absolutely no cuts or nicks... My legs were smooth and looked great. The only thing I
had was really itchy legs after for several hours. Not wanting to waste the razor, I bought some post shave fragrance free moisturiser and waited a week to try it again.

The second shave went perfectly!! I used the free exfoliating mitt, used a shave cream and then applied NO pressure at all, and allowed the weight of the razor to do the work, as per the instructions. No itching, no cuts, no nicks.

A week later I've just used it again and had another successful shave, again not a single cut. I'm still using the first blade and it's still shaving effectively. I think I'll get at least one more shave out of it, which will be a month of use!

With 39 more blades this will last me a long time!!!

I think if you prepare your skin and follow the instructions applying NO PRESSURE to the razor it works beautifully.

Never received

I placed my order in November. After a while with no information I contacted customer service to say I hadn't received my item. On the tracking the status had changed to "Exception". I contacted to ask that they contact the courier or re-ship my parcel and got no reply. Fortunately, I was able to claim as a chargeback through my credit card company.
