Site optimizer buggy and incomplete | Unwilling to refund

I signed up for the site optimizer, which is still missing schema, even though that is advertised on the website. Their crawler could also not complete my website crawls, even after I whitelisted their IPs. The service seems buggy and incomplete. When I asked for a refund, even a partial one, they refused. Do not deal with this company!

Avoid TryJournalist.com SEO Writer & Auto Publishing Scam Site

My biggest issue stems from the platform's tendency to publish duplicate content. Despite configuring settings to avoid this, I regularly found the same articles appearing multiple times on my site. This is a significant problem for SEO, as search engines penalize websites with duplicate content. The time I've spent manually cleaning up these duplicates far outweighs any time supposedly saved by the automation. It's a constant battle, and honestly, it feels like I'm spending more time fixing TryJournalist's mistakes than I would have spent just writing the content myself.

Beyond the duplicate content issue, the quality of the generated content itself is questionable. While it might pass a basic plagiarism check, it often lacks depth, originality, and sometimes even basic factual accuracy. It requires significant editing to be even remotely publishable, again defeating the purpose of automation.

To make matters worse, their customer support has been incredibly unhelpful. I've raised the duplicate content issue and other bugs multiple times, and the responses are consistently slow and unhelpful. They offer no fixes or suggest workarounds, just wait for their developers. It feels like they're just stalling, hoping you'll give up.

The most frustrating part of this whole experience is their refusal to provide a reasonable refund. After weeks of dealing with these issues, I requested a refund for the remainder of my annual subscription. They have stopped responding tomy emails, which is completely unacceptable given the poor service and the significant amount of time I've wasted. I feel completely ripped off.

In short, I strongly advise against using TryJournalist.com, especially if you're serious about SEO. The duplicate content issue, the poor content quality, and the terrible customer support make it a complete waste of money and time. You're better off investing in a different content creation strategy or writing the content yourself. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

Not great for topic coverage from keyword

The output isn't great.
I use another tool to identify topics in the SERP from a keyword - the output didn't score well for this coverage. You can add more seed keywords but its restricted to 1024 characters plus I would expect the tool to analyse the SERP before writing the content anyway.
It's supposed to save you time but other tools hit the mark quicker for topic coverage.

WARNING regarding Journalist AI

WARNING regarding Journalist AI: I was automatically re-billed for another year without my approval for USD $708.00.
I requested immediate refund asap as I did not authorize this, but they totally refused.
Very disappointing practices, as usually you should be sending a renewal email before you are being re-billed! :(
Had to issue a chargeback with my bank, hopefully this will be solved asap

Horrible!

I tried the free trial, was looking good but then, after you pay the nightmare will begin. Nothing is work in this app, full of bugs, doesn’t save the job. You work for hours then click on publish and everything disappears. Super frustrating!
I have no idea how Shopify can allow so unprofessional companies work with him. I reached them via email asking refund and in response there was zero apologies, refund topic hasn’t mentioned in their reply and also asked a ton of information like I was a developer working for them… stay away from this app! If I get the refund I might reconsider to modify my review at least for remove the scammy side…

Worst Ai Seo writer for blogs

Worst Ai Seo writer to generate, publish, syndicate and update articles automatically.
Bots are plublishing the same content everyday even after been customized properly.
Support is replying random answers like a bot and founders are just trying to sell online courses to explain how to use their tools.
The best part is credits do not rollover and reset every month for $59.
You can do better for free with good ChatGPT prompts.
