What I liked and didn't
I am overally happy with the way TryHackMe has taught me many things. One thing that I felt annoyed though was most of the rooms are PREMIUM. I am 9 years old and my parent's are busy so I don't manage to buy the pack, therefore, I find it tricky to find labs that suite me. I request to make easy labs free as I think paying for that is a waste. Thank you.

TryHackMe is Fueling My Growth in Cybersecurity
I’m currently on a journey to become a well-rounded cybersecurity professional, and TryHackMe has been one of the most impactful platforms I’ve used so far. I’ve completed 7 rooms and my current rank is 697,364. Every single room has provided me with practical, hands-on experience that goes far beyond just reading or watching tutorials.
As someone who has developed a real-world tool called Vuln-Sniff a packet capture analysis tool that identifies suspicious or malicious network activity I’ve found that TryHackMe helped me understand key concepts like networking, threat detection, and common attack methods in a very interactive and engaging way. The labs simulate real-world scenarios that challenge you to think both offensively and defensively.
I’ve also completed the Google Cybersecurity Certificate, and I can confidently say that TryHackMe gave me the opportunity to apply what I’ve learned in a real, hands-on environment. It’s improved my ability to assess vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and analyze threats in a structured way.
What I like most about the platform is that it’s suitable for both beginners and people with some experience. The learning paths are clear, the labs are well-structured, and the gamified style keeps you motivated.
If you’re serious about learning cybersecurity or building on your current skills, I highly recommend TryHackMe. It’s not just about reading concepts it’s about actually doing the work and developing real-world capabilities.
KIDI’S TECH
A great platform to build your career…
My experience here at THM is very great, as I have never experienced on other learning platforms as it relates to information security as a non-subscriber moving forward. I have planned to get my premier package as soon as next month to explore my career pah
Minimalist and good
Minimalist and good, explains the core topic in a clear and concise manner.
Women4Cybersecurity
The Women4Cybersecurity programme was truly an eye-opening experience for me. I’ve learned so much about how Windows works from the inside of the desktop to system files, where and how files are stored, and how to confidently navigate the Windows environment. This knowledge has empowered me to understand my device better and use it more effectively.
One of the most mind-blowing lessons for me was learning about hackers how easily they can break into systems and databases. It was both shocking and educational to see how vulnerable systems can be and how important cybersecurity really is. It truly opened my eyes to a whole new world of digital awareness and safety.
A very special thank you to The Master Chief Nash ❤️ for guiding us with so much patience and kindness. He has a calm and gentle way of teaching, breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable terms that make sense. That made a huge difference for me. Thank you, Tinashe Matanda you get a 100 out of 100 from me! I appreciate your effort and support in helping us grow.

I started my journey in security with hackthebox but it had so many paid machines and it was hard, later I discovered Tryhackme. I initially wanted to exploit only eternal blue in start but now I am loving it.

THM IS LEARNER FRIENDLY
I found the learning structure of THM is learner friendly, robust, flexible, hands-on and highly motivating.
Paid web lol
Biggest Joke Of A Game I've Ever Seen
Its fun until you complete so many activities and then it tells you "Oh sorry, to proceed with this module you need to upgrade to a paid plan!" I am on the free subscription because I am not made of money. What is the point of offering a free plan if you are just going to be like "haha we tricked you!" Talk about the biggest joke ever! And then you have literally no way to actually chat with a person to address concerns. Grow your team if you want to be able to better assist customers! Once my ticket is answered, if it ever is, I may be contemplating requesting deletion of my account.
This site is actually good.
This is one of the best free hacking sites I've ever seen. You get AttackBox time everyday, there are lots of rooms to grow your skills and become a hacker.
Can't connect to their machines
Can't connect to their machines when doing challenges. No way to contact them about it on their website. All other stuff works fine.
