Tru Water Filters Reviews 

Ordered & paid on line. But like many others filter never turned up & unable to contact truwater at all. Just a rip off system they are running.

Unfortunately I came to these reviews only today. The companies website needs to be taken down, it's absolutely misleading

Like everyone else is saying its a scam. i have just lost $400 to these scumbags. I have reported it to the commission today and i will not rest until that site is taken down no matter what it takes.

I have ordered a filter and it has NOT been despatch despite being given a Tracking Number and status of despatch in their response!! Tried contacting them but NO one wants to talk.

This was pretty frustrating at the start as I ordered an inline filter and I needed it urgently. I had read many reviews and really believed my money was gone after I didn't receive my tracking number in the first weeks. I had written the money off, when today my filter arrived exactly as ordered. It's not the place to order if you're in a rush, but today I will cut them some slack as the filter I ordered is a fraction of the price compared to anywhere else, plus I didn't have to pay shipping. The money I have saved far out weighs my frustrations. Well done Tru water.

Still no bought-and-paid-for item (Berkey Traveller water filter), despite multiple emails from me. Received only formulaic replies. Bank advised me to give them time to send the goods. Did so, now its over a month and still nothing. Emailed them tonight giving them a delivery timeframe or an independent confirmation of goods being sent timeframe, or else I would contact the Australian and NZ commerce commissions, Fair Go NZ and whatever equivalent scam busting tv programme they have in Australia, and google web regarding allowing them to continue advertising and scamming.

Yep, just been scammed. Like most people here wish i'd checked this before ordering. They charged me in AUD even though they say they are "NZ's leading company" with a NZ address. They don't reply to messages. Bank has been helpful with chargeback - even though I had to cancel my card. I've reported them to Commerce Commission (would urge others to do the same its a quick form and may force them to do something) so hopefully they'll be shut down.

This company is a scam . placed order and nothing. Dont reply to emails. terrible

They process the payment and never deliver the product. 2 months and waiting. Nz phone has no one answering. Chat operators keep Saying goods will be shipped soon

Bad...Order did eventually arrived after 3 months BUT was not the product ordered.
Luckily I had the payment reversed through my credit card for it taking so long and little comms from them.

Best not to order from them in first place.

They then told me to return the wrong product so I said I would if they agree to pay me the postage first... Heard no more...

I've twice ordered water filters and after long time asking about delivery I'm told "out of stock" Yet they continue listing the product. I'm very concerned they will process my payment and never send the goods. Very fishy people. Stink.

This is a scam. Don’t use them. 6 weeks and nothing has been sent and it’s impossible to contact them. You just get the same generic email loop.

I bought filters and cleaning products, which never arrived. I wish I had checked these reviews first.

Same as everyone else. It at least looks like they shipped something, time will tell.

Better off ordering direct from China yourself

i tried to contact them continuously regarding my order, told of delays but never heard back, now their website is offline, i think its time i called the police

I have paid for a water filter for my fridge, over 12 months now no filter tried ringing them sending emails no reply I would not trust this firm.
