I recently completed a back-to-back expedition of Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc with True Summit Adventures, and the experience was truly world-class. From the initial consultation with the founder, Oliver Browne, to the final summit on Mont Blanc, the focus on safety, technical skill, and luxury logistics was very evident. What made the expedition so special was the diverse group and the high caliber of the IMFGA-certified guides with professional mountaineering capability!! Not to mention the group of amazing people who joined the expedition alongside me.

If you are looking for an expert-led journey in the Alps or beyond, I cannot recommend True Summit Adventures highly enough!!! They were definitely the premier choice for me and I think anyone seeking a bespoke adventure with a team you can really trust. Can't wait to go on many more with Oliver and his team.... already signed up....!!

We recently completed a charity trek on the Machame Route of Kilimanjaro. Travelling with my 21 yr old son we were part of a wider family and friends group with ages ranging from 16-63 yrs. Oliver helped with training plans & kit lists, answering all our questions, patiently giving advice and recommendations. Logistically this trip was excellent, the team of guides and porters Oliver uses are an amazing group of individuals, friendly and sensitive to your needs - often knowing when a break is required before you do! Evening briefings for the next day were informative and the excellent food gave us the fuel to keep going. Knowing we had a Dr alongside took away any worries and when a member of our party needed to descend the process was efficient and handled sensitively.
We would highly recommend Oliver and True Summit Adventures & hope to join him on another adventure sometime!

I did the September Mont Blanc trip; it is safe to say it was the most memorable trip I have ever been on! The service & hands-on support from the True Summit team was second to none. I highly highly recommend booking with Ollie and the rest of the team - it will be the trip of a lifetime!

Both The Alps (Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc) and Mount Stanley (+ Gorillas!!) in Uganda were truly unforgettable set of experiences - Oliver had organised the trips perfectly. A perfect blend of challenge and beauty with a perfect team to do it with.

Great expedition from Ollie and his team on Mont Blanc and Gran Paradiso

I recently had the incredible opportunity to summit both Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc in less than a week with True Summit Adventures, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The entire experience was expertly organised, from the moment we arrived to the successful summit of both peaks.

The IFMGA-certified guides were absolutely amazing – their professionalism, knowledge of the mountains, and support made all the difference. Safety was always a top priority, yet they ensured we were constantly pushed to reach our full potential. The sense of accomplishment after summiting not one, but two iconic peaks was indescribable.

Our group was fantastic – a wonderful mix of adventurers who, over the course of the week, bonded deeply. We created lifetime memories together, and the camaraderie really enhanced the entire experience. Everyone in the group successfully summited, and it felt like a true team effort.

A special shoutout to Oliver, the owner of True Summit Adventures, who provided endless support and encouragement throughout the entire trip. His passion for helping people achieve their dreams on these epic climbs was clear, and his personal touch made the journey even more meaningful.

I recently returned from a trip to the Alps with True Summit Adventures where our entire group summited both Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc. The entire trip was fantastically well organised and I was provided with non stop advice from Oliver right from the get go to ensure I had all the right kit and was on point with my training programme. The entire experience was incredible and quite difficult to put in to words. I highly recommend this company and hope to book another adventure in the future.

We have just returned from True Summit's family trip to Kilimanjaro and have had the most incredible and unforgettable time. Oliver's attention to detail and his team's never-ending wellspring of support and enthusiasm were vital in enabling us to reach the summit as a family.
We have two kids - a 17 year old girl and 15 year old boy - and they were totally engaged in the trip for the entirety of the week. Naturally there was a low ebb or two along the route, but the feeling of unsurpassed achievement that we have come away with is well worth every effort, and the kids in particular have gained a quiet confidence and inner strength from the experience.
We cannot thank Oliver enough for organising such a fantastic, brilliantly organised and incredibly well supported expedition.

My son was approaching his 16th birthday and I was looking for an experience that we would never forget, where it would be a shared journey and an adventure. I came across a family trek to Kilimanjaro with True Summit Adventures and thought this could be it ! After a few conversations with the founder, Oliver Browne, it was apparent that his caring approach, attention to detail and experience that this was an opportunity of a lifetime. Oliver addressed all my concerns, put me in touch with someone my age who had successfully made the summit with him 6 months earlier, helped with the right selection of kit and recommended which flights to book, the rest was organized. Having never trekked, climbed, camped or really trained, I found the support incredible and we achieved our dream which I don’t think would have been possible without the above and beyond care from the True Summit team who motivated and urged us to reach our goal and provided help when we needed it. The True Summit family hiking trek is a must for anyone with teenagers, this is an experience that will provide them with the confidence to believe in themselves and recognize that anything is possible as they progress through life and its also one of the best family bonding experiences you will ever get.

True Summit’s founder/leader Oliver Browne and its support team are extremely knowledgable about all aspects of the Everest Base Camp adventure (visual, technical, cultural) and how to best enjoy it. They were very attentive to participants having a comfortable, safe, and fulfilling experience. This was accomplished by them ensuring we were informed about or supported for whatever we were doing at each moment. I am a somewhat novice andventurer and there were others in the group who were highly experienced; however, none of us had to compromise our trek for the sake of the other. Moreover, guiding adventures is not just a job for Oliver Browne, and supporting trekkers is not just a job for his colleagues. Despite their vast experience, Oliver and the support team were always enthusiastic about our activities and expressed awe throughout the trek. This combined with Oliver and the support team’s congeniality made me feel as if I was trekking with friends.

The adventure was life-changing accomplishment for me. Although it has been six weeks since my experience, the calmness and wellness I attained during the trek persists.

A journey into another world that I will never forget in my life.
I had the pleasure of travelling to Nepal and the Himalayas to Everest Base Camp with True Summit Adventures at the end of March 2024.
The whole venture was organised by Oliver, from True Summit Adventures. The dedication with which Oli devoted himself to each individual participant gave me the feeling from the outset that I was in exactly the right hands. From the moment the trip was arranged (about 3 months beforehand) Oli was always available for every single participant. He put together a great training programme for us, which was essential for the trip. He was also available at any time and at any hour to answer any questions.
The dedication with which Oli devoted himself to this trip and the participants made the magical journey something unforgettable.
The experiences we had on the trip, the people we met, the friendships we made, it all made it to something unique, that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
My big thanks go to True Summit Adventures and especially to Oli personally, because the way he made it so special.
The next trip is already being planned and I can hardly wait to experience the next adventure with Oli.

Recently went to Everest Base Camp with True Summit Adventures, a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. Oli was absolutely fantastic from the point of booking, providing me with a 12 week training plan to prepare myself and checking in regularly to make sure I was actually getting ready. I did the new years Kilimanjaro climb. Was an amazing experience with a group of wonderful people. True summits crew made me very assured and confident during the climb. In the end I was able to hold the Fulham Flag at the summit!

Mary and Faye below have said it all - this was truly the experience of a lifetime. At 61 yrs old, with knee injuries and health concerns, I NEVER thought I would be up to this. However, Oliver listened to my concerns, spent time discussing everything in detail and even met up with me to see me train and assess my fitness. He encouraged me to continue training in preparation and filled me with confidence. I really felt in safe hands with him and signed up, along with my two sons. Oliver went above and beyond at every point, communicating with us in the lead up, with tips on kit and logistics.
The trip itself was so beautifully organised in every detail. The Tanzanian team looking after us - including 3 amazing guides, camp team, porters, kitchen staff - all were outstanding. We felt supported and safe at every stage, with everyone able to go at a pace that suited them. Honestly I could never have got to the top without Oliver and the guides. The views, reaching the summit were amongst the most, if not the most, majestic I have ever beheld. I cannot thank Oliver and his team enough. There really are no words....
One hears of many people not able to complete the trip and reach the summit. Oliver's experienced, professional and caring approach is what lies behind his success rate for his clients, no doubt. He is a great team leader, attentive to all the team's needs. One never felt pressured. We had a wonderful group and I feel truly privileged to have shared this trip with them. I sent my son with True Summit to Kilimanjaro over New Year. I was slightly apprehensive. Oliver reassured me on every level & stayed in contact during the trip, sending periodic updates.
Oliver is not only a master communicator but by all accounts an inspirational leader. Any parental apprehension was dissolved. I knew my son was in safe hands.
More than that, this experience has inspired my son to move forward with climbing - Oliver & the team have been instrumental in that. I went with Oliver and the True Summit Adventures team to Kilimanjaro at the end of 2023 and kicked off the new year on the mountain.
The trip was flawlessly planned, the team had thought of every detail and this made the experience so much easier as everything was taken care of.
The team around us on the mountain were amazing; we had the best food, facilities, porters and guides.
I can’t recommend the team enough and will be doing more trips in the future.

I just finished a one week Mt Kilimanjaro expedition with Oliver and his True Summit Adventures team, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life! Prior to booking, I had concerns about how I might be impacted by the altitude and if I was fit enough. I felt very confident after speaking to Oliver on the phone. The route is very well planned to allow proper time for acclimatization and there is an amazing team of guides that allow for individualized attention when needed throughout the trip. Our group had a 100% summit success rate! There were so many small details (which I won’t spoil!) that were above and beyond. The food was amazing and the singing and dancing in the morning was such an energizing start to the day. The feeling of awe and wonder will stay with me forever. Highly recommend!!
