From the original design through to the final signing off, Dave has both project managed and built our beautiful, practical kitchen. We love it.
It has transformed our period home and made a small dingy kitchen with wonky walks, into a brighter, lighter, more spacious space. We can’t believe how much more work space we have, and how easy it is to store everything away, keep the kitchen clean and clear of clutter. He thought of everything.
Dave’s workmanship precise, working with cob walls that are difficult to attach to and bowed and wonky wall.
Dave was very flexible throughout the build, happy to make changes and recommendations as he went to enhance the kitchen.
He fought the corner for us to get the best value for money. He was assertive with the tradesmen, electrician and worktop architect and fitters to ensure a quality finish. Directing them when their decisions were not in keeping with his and our views of what we wanted.
Dave and his apprentice Issac loving restored our very old and rotted windows. Taking care to keep what was good and using their master joinery skills to reinstate the damaged wood.
Dave discussed throughout the options and costs so that we were in control of our budget.
The period windows look beautiful and fit perfectly.
Oh, they were fun to have around, worked tidily, used vacuum saws so that no sawdust was created; and always cleared up before they left every evening.
