I had an MOT done at Troy in Harehills Leeds. I paid £500 for repairs to get it through the MOT. Three weeks later the Lower rear arm dropped off. I was six days without a car and spent £30 in taxi fares to fulfill appointments. They apparently fitted a rear subframe but II had to pay £50 for new rear arms. My car was returned to me in an unsafe condition after the MOT and clearly the MOT pass certificate has no integrity.If I'd been traveling at 40 mph when the arm dropped off I'd have had a nasty accident.

I had my mot done here and a lot came up on things that needed to be fixed immediately. I also got a few advisories. They tried charging me nearly £400 more than what I paid else where for the work to be done, just to have the immediate issues fixed just so it could get a basic pass. The other garage I found managed to fix all of them and all but one of my advisories. When I told them I wouldn’t be getting the work done there they started saying that they would be worried if somewhere was charging £400 less than what they were as it sounds like a back street garage and the work wouldn’t be done properly where as they could guarantee they would get it done. I don’t know if they thought it was going to worry me or what but it gave me more red flags. They had to drive my car to and from the garage that actually does the MOT and when I got back in it, my car was dirty and stank of cigarette smoke.

When they were telling me the breakdown of it all, they tried getting even more money out of me and telling it could cost me about £1.3k in all because ‘most people normally get this replaced with that and that with this’. It cost me £450 for everything but one advisory to disappear.

People told me afterwards that they rip people off and they’re correct! I do not recommend.

Wouldn't recommend this garage. Looked up parts for my car that had been replaced on autodoc (mid range parts) and the total for the parts came to £165. I was charged just under £900 total, with no breakdown or mention of labor on the invoice but I'm sure you guys can work it out. £165 for parts and the total was just under £900. You tell me if they're taking you for a ride! Daylight robbery, first and last time costumer.
