I've used Tropicfeel ever since their Kickstarter days and as such have accumulated a few models and pairs over the years.
I really love some of their models but also noticed the quality getting worse for some of them over the recent years for whatever reason. The cherry on top was when I ordered the Terra.001 model on Dec. 3rd.
It was in stock but it never arrived. It also never arrived with Evri, which makes me think they didn't actually lose the order but it was never sent out in the first place as they oversold and went out of stock. I don't have proof for that of course, but it was a weird coincidence. But that wasn't all.
Upon my enquiry Customer Service then told me it is up for pre-order for a shipment at the end of January and if I want to move the "lost" order to the pre-order one instead. I really wanted that colourway, so I agreed despite it meaning a 2 month wait.
Cue end of Jan, I contact them to enquire about where my order is, and well, turns out it was all a lie, there is no pre-order suddenly. The colourway was allegedly discontinued now and won't be back. I still have both orders showing as waiting to be fulfilled in my account, so feel really frustrated and annoyed by having been strung along like that. Also, if you found out about it being discontinued, maybe reach out to your customers who actually have an order placed with it?
I have now asked for a full refund. They offered a voucher of the full value plus 12%, but honestly, I don't think I will be getting any new pairs there any time soon. My favourite model has already been discontinued a while ago, the others haven't really lived up to it and have also broken much faster and after this recent order problem and the lies around the non-existing pre-order my trust is kinda gone. Could have spent the 100 quid on something else that actually exists back in December.
Hot tip: if you decide to discontinue an item that people have an order for, make sure to contact them and not have them reach out to you instead. It really makes you look bad and deceitful, like you're hoping people would just forget and you get some extra money. Don't be that guy.
In case you want the order numbers to make sure I'm an actual customer:
First one that got "lost" without ever reaching the carrier: #710874
The pre-order that never existed: #713655

Tropicfeel shipped me a faulty product, and resolving it has now taken over 1.5 weeks.
As the item was out of stock, I was asked to choose an alternative, which was later rejected with no solution offered beyond a 12% reimbursement if I order a new product. After five back-and-forth emails with 24+ hour response times, it’s now too late to receive a replacement in time.
I was then forced to initiate a return that requires manual approval, which has been pending for four days with no timeline. As a result, I can neither return the faulty product nor place a replacement order.
This was caused by Tropicfeel’s own quality control failure, yet the entire burden has been placed on the customer. What should have been a simple replacement has turned into a frustrating waste of time.
Do better, Tropicfeel and issue a full refund now.

These are cheap Chinese made trainers, sold at crazy prices with some nice advertising. They are not fit for purpose, poorly made, cheap materials. Don't say I haven't warned you! They refused warranty claim and were rude, stay away from this company, do not take any notice of their reply, they aren't interested at all Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

The team was prompt, extremely supportive, and very courteous throughout the whole process. Highly professional service.

Great products and company. Been a customer for many years and these are my favourite shoes I wear every day. Also have the travel backpack as I travel a lot and even after 4 years of use it still looks like new.

Just brought my second pair of AT X trainers, they are so good for adventures and smart casual occasions. Needed some new laces and Kim helped to sort this out to send with my new order. Thanks for your superb product and great customer service.

My second pair of shoes from tropicfeel with a defect.
The warranty process was a mess. They are unable to provide a replacement and refuse a refund (offering a gift card only).
Given the lack of quality and the poor customer service I can't recommend them.

Less than ZERO. You make a complaint and the support staff (AI) just want an appraisal. The company just want your money. The product is not fit for purpose. They pretend they care about the environment by recycling PET bottles. The shoes last one trip and then become land fill. The PET does not stand up to normal ware and tare. Do not buy this product and do not support this company.

Shoes are ok in general but I lost one of the lace knot holders and Tropicfeel can’t replace it. I offered to buy a few of them but because the shoes were bought from a retailer they can do anything. In this and age, it’s a nonsense response.

First off, the apparel is high quality. I ordered a slightly smaller size than I anticipated. I debated whether or not to keep it or return it. The customer service was excellent and made the exchange super easy. They were hands down the best I’ve dealt with in years 10 out of 10 🤩
I bought the NS40 (and a few
Other things) for vacation and can’t wait to use them in Ireland.
Thanks again for all your great support and accommodation Tropicfeel.

I got the Shell backpack with the toiletry bag in black for Christmas three years ago. I was very satisfied with it and used it on a daily basis. Since I got it as a present, I do not have any receipts, neither do I know the date of the order or anything.
Last year, large parts the fabric started to get crumbly and nasty. In the cours of last year it was deteriorating rapidy and falling of in little pieces. This made me really sad and unsatisfied. Since the company claimed to produce long-living products and to be sustainable and also the product must have been pretty expensive, I expected to get some help from the customer service, but I was very wrong. I got a pretty much careless answer, which was not helpful at all. Now I've got this backpack, which is loosing pieces of fabrik everywhere I take it.

to return an article was too complicate and needs a lot of nerves; in the end you have to pay for the return as well ... or accept a retourn voucher ... you can do better ...
