Worse

Worse. This company is a scam. A front for compu-chlor one and the same selling substandard chlorinators and not honouring warranty. 75 percent negative reviews the remainder being paid through product to give positive reviews. Dirty company, non Australian wroughting hundreds. Do your research not through Feebo but independent product review.

Couldn’t be happier!

Couldn’t be happier.

Found the generic chlorinator cell replacement I needed, placed the order, and it was on my doorstep within 48 hours. No drama, no delays — just done. Love that.

What really blew me away was the price. I checked the same generic part at other online pool shops and even Big W — this one was $200 cheaper for the exact same product. Same part. Way less cash. Easy decision.

Fast shipping, legit pricing, zero fuss. That’s how online shopping should be.

Thanks legends 👏

Tropical Pools....a business to avoid.

I bought a salt chlorinator from Tropical Pool Store.
Within about 15 minutes it melted the salt cell.
They did agree to repair it but blamed me for having the salt concentration too high even though I provided pool shop test showing this to be false.
It has since melted two more cells.
They now tell me that they have spent enough time on this chlorinator and they feel that they have fullfilled their obligations.
I am $1000 down with no chlorinator.
A chlorinator a couple of months old with a 7 year warranty that Compu Pools (Tropical Pools service department) say is not faulty.
Tropical Pools and Compu Pools are totally unscrupulous operations and should be avoided at all costs.
PLEASE AVOID THESE BUSINESSES.

I purchased a Replacement Chlorinator…

I purchased a Replacement Chlorinator Cell for Astral Viron
V35 & eQuilibrium EQ35 - Generic x 1 In January 2025, 2 days
after this was installed I discovered The seal around one of
he red terminals have leaked water and caused it to burn out
I disconnected the cell straight away and contacted tropical
pools to get a replacement or a refund, they instantly blamed
me for not connecting the wires correctly ( although I have
been in the electronics industry for nearly 2 decades, and l'm
pretty sure I know how to connect a couple of wires, I found
their attitude quite rude and offensive actually) they said it's
not covered under warranty because it was my fault. They
offered to have me send it to them for repair. I told them that I
would like a refund as I don't trust there product , I payed $439
for what was clearly a faulty chlorinator cell, it's only right that
they refund. They refused to refund my money. They insisted it
was my fault.I find this outrageous! Worst company l've eve
had to deal with, even after numerous e-mails back and forth
including photos to show the terminal was clearly not sealed
properly when manufactured, still I no resolution and it's
October. My advise is don't trust this company.
I installed another chlorinator I purchased though poolwerx, and that works perfectly.

Buyer Beware Tropical Pool Store

Buyer Beware : Product states 6 year warranty but it is only a 2 year warranty with 4 years pro rata. This is not mentioned on the web site or invoice. Communication is very very bad and i mean bad. Not once did they return a call in over a month. I had to ring them about 5 times in one day just to get an invoice this was after a few weeks of patiently chasing them. From what i can work out Compu Pool Products is there sister company who supplies them. But they pretend they are a totally different entities. B
