Trivago is a complete scam

I would suggest that everyone stay away from the scam website that is Trivago.

I booked a hotel reservation on Trivago to stay at the Hilton Zurich Airport after a flight delay. When I arrived that night, the hotel refused to honor the reservation and said that it was completely full. I had to scramble to find another hotel, even though Trivago had confirmed the reservation and charged $300+ to my credit card already.

When I followed up with Trivago about this issue, their customer service pretended that nothing was wrong, kept on asking for new information (such as about my new hotel, which seems irrelevant), and still has not refunded my payment (after almost a week so far).
