I was quoted from three different companies and TripleD were the most reasonable. Their service exceeded my excpectations. They did exactly what was required and kept in touch with me every step of the way.

I applied for a job with TrippleD through Indeed while actively searching for work as a van owner for two months. They requested various driver requirements, including insurance policies, which I had to take out at my own expense in hopes of securing the position.

However, after submitting my documents—including my passport and driving license—the company became unresponsive, ignoring my calls and emails. When I finally managed to speak with them, they first told me I wouldn’t be hired because my van wasn’t registered in Birmingham. I provided proof that it was, yet they then claimed I needed a DBS check.

I was initially hesitant, as the DBS check was an additional cost I couldn’t afford, but they insisted. After obtaining it—and proving I had no criminal record—they then informed me that I wouldn’t be hired because I have a limited company.

This was never mentioned as a disqualifying factor at the start of the process, despite some of their own requirements stating that VAT registration was necessary. My limited company consists of just one driver—myself—yet this was used as an excuse to reject me after I had already spent money on unnecessary insurance and compliance costs.

Additionally, they even attempted to disqualify me by falsely claiming I was affiliated with a company they had issues with—an organization I have no connection to.

TrippleD made me jump through multiple hoops, causing significant financial strain, only to find excuses to avoid hiring me after seeing my ID and seeing that I am not white. I lost the chance of being employable, as they sought every excuse to tell me why I wouldn't be employed. Their recruitment process feels misleading and exploitative, and I would strongly advise others to avoid dealing with them.

I have worked for this company on a couple of occasions and despite them being reasonable at supplying information, they are diabolical at conversing with people
After my payment was delayed on courier exchange and paid the following day, I left late feedback, which is a true reflection
I then received a phone call from the CEO of this company, talking to me like a piece of rubbish and trying to persuade me to remove my feedback by telling me I will no longer get offered any work from them
The CEO was a blatantly lying saying they didn't receive my POD (proof of delivery) which was sent electronically the same day I completed my delivery
Now they have blocked me on Courier Exchange from any further work, due to me being an honest individual
Companies like this one deserve to be known to other couriers to avoid the same treatment as I have received
