This really was a great experience and service with tripabroad. This service was provided at the right time, when all parents had to start homeschooling. I have a daughter with special needs, and homeschooling her can be a bit of a challenge at times. The packs from trip abroad, provided a variety and a different learning experience, for both her, and myself. Thank you for putting this together, and providing these free to famiies at such a difficult time.

Was first drawn to these packs through my daughters fascination with Egypt. Went on to receive the following packs and then apply for the ones we missed. Each pack had just the right amount of information for a child to read, understand and take in. The service from tripabrood was very quick when applying for the previous packs.

I discovered this at the perfect time, my son was set some work on South Africa. Upon completing this one we looked at the others.
Great ideas, very informative (and the cheat sheets were appreciated too! 😉)

Activity Packs
The Activity packs have been brilliant teaching children about different countries. The pack really helped with homeschooling with the variety of stuff from basic knowledge to language to learn, recipes and word searches. Thanks so much

The activity packs that tripAbrood have been providing during the lockdown are really thought through and very well done!

I was struggling to get my boys motivated with home schooling. The school told us about these packs which are great. We have tried lots of new foods and learnt about lots of different countries. Having worked in the travel industry many years ago, I loved them too ! Thank you.

I'm a secondary school teacher and teach Travel and Tourism amongst other subjects. I found the destination activity packs so helpful during lockdown when it came to setting home learning and the feedback from my students was really positive. They loved the variety of destinations and the cook and make sections were a really nice addition. I thought the time difference activity was also really useful as they often struggle with this and have to do it as part of later assessments, so it was an excellent introduction for them. I was so excited every week to see it drop into my inbox and I even shared them with friends who had children to help them pass the time with something fun and educational during lockdown. Thank you so much. I will definitely be checking out the website when we're thinking about our next 'trip abrood' : )

I thought these packs were an amazing idea. I am a primary school teacher and used some of the activities for the children's online learning. I also used the packs to make themed country weeks for the Key Worker children in school. They learnt so much!

Not being able to explore much locally, let alone plan to travel, we took advantage of the fantastic themed resources to add to our "home school" experience. We have tried lots of the recipes, made several of the craft objects (the medusa hat was a big hit!) and enjoyed reading about the counties, looking up their flags and learning a few key words too!
My contact with admin has been swift and human :) and my query resolved immediately.

We’ve so loved learning about different destinations through tripAbrood’s activity packs. We’ve tried new food and new crafts and imagined what children all over the world would be doing. Both my boys, aged 9 and 4 have loved them and we’ve loved dreaming about all the places we can visit when we’re able to! Thank you!

Fabulous activity packs! We have recently done several 'holidays at home' and the kids have loved it! The packs contain interesting info about the country, activities/crafts, and yummy recipes which are easy to make with children. Highly recommend!

We have loved completing the packs over lockdown!

The packs have been used in home education and working along side the children I have also learnt a lot about the different countries. I have been able to dream about places that i have never been to or seen and had always dreamt of since childhood.
Please keep up the fantastic opportunity for young and old a like to learn about different countries

I only heard about tripAbrood during lockdown. The weekly activity packs was one of those positive things that involve all family. They are compound but just the right size to provide the snapshot about different countries: history, art, food, language - just like a virtual trip to that part of the world. The journey starts with the dream, and that is how we felt about those activity packs.
