Sorry signed up with Trilogy.

Regarding Trilogy Publishing.
Advice: Pray carefully before signing with them; don't be dazzled by their offer to help publish your book. They are really bad communicators and overpriced. After nearly $7000 investment, the return on investment has been around $100. It seems so sinful. Seems they just want to get paid, and don't care how hurtful or expensive it is to authors. Feeling duped and so sorry for signing with them. Nightmarish, stressful and discouraging.

So once again I used trilogy’s curbside…

So once again I used trilogy’s curbside pick up. the last time I used them I got the wrong order the wrong price and it took an hour or more for no reason and now I get the same guy who seems to always be out of it and when I ask about using my points for store credit he refuses to help me and when I explain to him that I would get a cheaper price if I used it he replied “idk sorry” mind you this was before I gave him my cash to pay. that’s terrible customer service and he made it seem like a chore as well saying I’d have to go back and change it to the original to use credit that’s your job why are making it seem like I’m the bad guy for asking never again with curbside next time I’m going in its a joke with curbside

Crooks

Crooks. Avoid at all costs. Avoid their fraudulent claims for unpaid invoices for services you are not under contract for. All started with City Numbers (which was a great company until it got bought and bought again...)!

This subsidiary is shady

This printing subsidiary is highly unprofessional and has not met basic contractual obligations. 1. The contract lacks Author Audit Rights: The absence of an audit clause is a major disadvantage for the Author. It makes it difficult to verify the accuracy of sales and royalty reports. 2. They fail to deliver records, failure to accurately report sales volume, gross profit, and how they calculate the author's royalties. 3. It's challenging to reach the client representative, and the level of client care is extremely poor. 4. Contract stipulates the authors cannot defame or harm the publisher. 5. Unable to change pricing (even after multiple requests to do so to increase sales). 6. Post-Termination Ambiguity: The contract is unclear about the ownership of rights and royalty obligations after the agreement ends, beyond the 90-day purchase window for the author.
7. Royalty Structure: While initially favorable to the Author, the royalty structure changes significantly after the initial investment is recouped, and there's no guarantee the author will ever recoup their initial investment. 8. Publisher's Control: The Publisher retains significant control over various aspects of the publication process, including editing, design, pricing, and distribution.

TLDR: Shady, unprofessional, failed to meet contract obligations or report sales and profits.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I would 100% recommend Trilogy

The process of publishing my book through Trilogy was amazing from start to finish. Once my manuscript was selected, I was introduced to a very good Production Manager and, through her, an Editor and Designer that did a fantastic job. The whole process from selection until publishing took about 9 months. I have been a writer my entire life, in a work environment and creatively, which certainly helped with the editing process and also design wise. If a person is new to the process, they may not understand editing which would make it difficult--especially if you think your book is 100% okay when you send it. Every bit of writing needs editing and I was so glad that my editor was very professional and helpful. The book designer listened to my wish list of how I imagined the book to look, and made it even better! I cannot tell you how happy I am with the final product. From my perspective, I would 100% recommend Trilogy. I loved the experience.

Publishing My Spiritual Writings from God

I'll share my thoughts & experience w/Triligy Christian Publishers. My 2 books were approved for publishing in February 2024. I signed their contract, paid their fees, & submitted my work in the Word software.program they requested. In August 2024 my account executive hadn't done anything to print my books. He ended all contact w/me. I reached out to TBN C.E.O. & he directed me to Trilogy Publishing Director. He contacted me, & said he would investigate my concern. Unfortunately, the account executive was untruthful & stated my works weren't submitted in the Word software program he requested. Of course, the Director believed his employee's statement & defended him. The director never reviewed my book submission. I was very upset & heartbroken. I decided they weren't the company I could work with, & they didn't have the Christian values they proclaimed. They breached our contract, & I decided to cancel the contract, & requested all my monies to be refunded. The director agreed to refund the payments, which was against the language in their contract. The many conversations we had were unpleasant & they wanted to get rid of me. In hindsight, I realize they weren't the Avenue God had directed me to help share His word to other people. He will show me the right direction, or I'll publish myself. AMEN!

Published A Book With These Guys

Published a book with these guys. Fairly high priced for editing, higher than most, but good. Had a few rude episodes during editing from an employee. Slow to respond to questions. Don’t seem to keep Christian values as advertised in the “Christian advertising.” You are abandoned after publication, and they have no real advertising to promote the book, they only offer a $10,000 dollar price for a ten second spot on ten commercials, which really publicizes other books. In effect it seems you’re paying to sell other celebrities books. I like TBN but feel abandoned.

Do not use this company!

Not recommend at all!

They did the first part of the work, installing wardrobes pretty quickly, but after I had paid Chris the bulk of the payment as agreed after that, I couldn’t get him back to finish.

I telephoned, texted and emailed him every day for almost a month and he only came back after I advised I had contacted and taken advice from Trading Standards.

I asked him not to leave equipment at my house because there’s no room and he left 6ft pieces of wood the entire length of my stairs for weeks!

He used to come to the house and avoid speaking to me after he had plonked himself in my neighbours garden while he had a smoke and she had quite rightly complained about him and I had to tell him not to do that! He also stopped the young apprentice helping out after he had been paid the large payment and it took Andy the fitter double the length of time to finish the job as he had no help at all!

He had no time for me after I paid him his deposit and I spent the whole of the period from August when I paid the deposit to December 2022 when it was actually finished chasing him and trying to find out what was happening!

I believe he was totally out of his depth regarding his other jobs and organising himself and without Andy to steer him, I would still be waiting for completion.
I could go on with a catalogue of complaints but you can see why I would never ever use him again!

Trilogy - where the best of the best work

I was selected to Trilogy via Crossover last year and I have been working there since. I failed the test once and got selected on my second try. There is very less job security because you are competing with the top 1% best talent in the world. Just because you were not selected does not mean the company is not legit. If you gave up means you could have never made it through training in this company. I love working there because it challenges me to give my best every day I log in to work.

I look forward to excelling in the current role and try for the next level. There is no consideration that you work there when applying for another role. Everyone has a fair chance at being selected. I hope to work there until my contract lasts.
