Ordered a petzl head torch

Ordered a petzl head torch. Was a fair bit cheaper than other suppliers. Came within a week. Worth the wait for the saving.
Would definitely recommend..

Order not received / terrible Customer Service

Ordered a coat in December Order number 65047962, still not received. Whilst customer service do reply to messages, no effort has been made to determine the problem or to refund. I was even asked to fill in a form to action an investigation but was soon told that it is outside of the claim period. They work on the basis that after 30 days ‘there’s nothing more that they can do’ suggesting I should then contact the couriers, which contravenes UK law. Unfortunately all communication online only, and logistics companies do not have a way to contact them effectively. Current status on the order is that it is delayed, no explanation as to what this means and told a number of times that there is nothing they can do. Had to raise a dispute with the Bank, still out of pocket by £370!.

Good selection of products but poor returns process

Excellent selection of outdoor products at a good price.

However, extremely long winded and expensive return process. I ordered some walking shoes that were too wide for me so arranged a return. It cost me £12 to return and ages for the refund to go through. This is the first return I’ve ever made outside of Amazon and it’s a shame more companies can’t adopt Amazons process.

I would use again but would be very hesitant about what I ordered.

Shipping from Spain to Slovenia was…

Shipping from Spain to Slovenia was fast. Product as described and cheaper than here (this may vary). Postage was cheap. Idk how I'd go about potential guarantee, probably device manufacturer (Garmin)? Very nice, would recommend!

Alweays delayed shipping

The timeliness of their shipments is always a huge disappointment. The majority of their inventory comes from third party distributors. So, unless you are ordering something very common, there is always going to be a delay in the shipment. I've waited weeks for my order to ship from them, while an item remains 'delayed' in the order confirmation page, only to end up canceling the item in order to receive the remaining order.

It's amazing to me that a company has become so successful running a logistics supply line like this, where their catelogue is full of offshore inventory.

I definitely do not recommend the store.
Outdated online offer, missing ordered product. No acknowledgement of error or apology. Attempt to force withdrawal from the contract, even though the order could not be fulfilled due to the store's fault.

I have just purchased a pair of…

I have just purchased a pair of columbia peakfreak 11 hiking shoes. The service from Trekkinn have been great. Communication throughout was good. I knew I was going to have to wait a little longer for these as they were coming from abroad. I ordered a half size up so as to wear thicker socks. They are as described. Very comfortable and with the UK weather at the moment I have been able to test the waterproofing and yes they are waterproof. Thanks Trekkinn. Will definitely buy again+++++

scam

advise items at a price, you select your size and they send you child's sizes.
no where on the page does it say there kids.
then expect you to pay £12 to send them back.
shocking customer service, I wont be buying from them again and ill be warning others not to aswell .
i waited 4 weeks for delivery aswell,

Excellent service from TrekInn.com…

Excellent description from TrekInn.com helped to decide on the Salomon walking shoes. Have purchased a version of these years ago which were very comfy and lasted a long time.
The price was also a main factor in buying the X Ultra 360.
Goods arrived in perfect condition and in no time at all.

Avoid This Company: No Product and No Refund

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally demand resolution regarding my order placed on December 29, for which I paid over $300, including expedited shipping.

After multiple follow-ups, I was informed on February 3 that the package could not be located. Tracking has consistently shown the item as “awaiting pickup by UPS” since early January, indicating that it was never handed over to the carrier and that the issue originates on your end.

You have since stated that a full refund was processed (February 20, reference: “Devolucion importe (adyen): -314.97 CAD”). However, I have not received any such refund in my account to date. I have verified this thoroughly with my financial institution.

Your explanation regarding shipping company protocols and timelines does not address the core issue, which is that the item was never shipped and remains unresolved several months later.

Given the above, I expect immediate clarification and resolution. Failing this, I will proceed without further notice to initiate a formal chargeback with my financial institution on the basis of goods not received and misrepresentation, and will file complaints with the appropriate consumer protection authorities.

Please treat this matter with urgency.
