Perfect dog friendly getaway.
We've just come back from a lovely mid-week stay in the Chukka. The treehouse is gorgeous and the views are beautiful. The EV buggy is fun but also very useful for nipping to the Cowdray farm shop.
The farm shop is incredible, so you don't need to worry about taking anything as it has so much variety. We ended up eating in most nights to our surprise.
The bed is huge and super comfy, we were really sad to leave, but we'll be back.

Such a special place! We had a wonderful long weekend in Chukka. Great communication from THR in the run-up to our arrival and a very warm welcome on the day. It is beautifully designed and some lovely attention to detail. Particular highlights for the family were the outdoor bath and EV buggy - as well as all the Cowdray estate has to offer close by (and yet the tree house feels so hidden away). An absolute gem!

We had the most incredible time at the Treehouse. From the moment we arrived it was perfect. They have literally thought of everything..from boot room, hamper, games and books down to the tiniest of detail.

I highly recommend the Treehouse to anyone looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by luxury and nature..but at the same time, I want to keep it all to myself!

The most incredible staycation, in an unreal location. Attention to detail was immaculate, so nice to have all the mod cons but deep in the nature. Very secluded. Ideal for a
Romantic weekend away or a trip with the girls. Plenty to do, and a walk away from the polo fields. 10/10

What an absolute top treat!! I cannot stress just how gorgeous these treehouses are; built and fitted/designed with quality and thought. It was the perfect place to switch off for a couple of nights, wished I’d booked longer. We ate at the cafe and bought delicious cheese, meats etc at the farm shop to enjoy in the evening on the balcony whilst listening to the Olympics. Utter bliss. Thank you so much to Jane and the whole team.

Had a fabulous stay. Peaceful and relaxing away from the hustle of life.

The treehouse facilities were very good and we only ate at the Cowdray Cafe choosing to purchase our food from the Farm Shop which had a very comprehensive selection of cheeses and charcuterie, or anything else you could think off.

The grounds were good for walking with our mini schnauzer and there are various trails and tracks should you wish to venture further. With the weather so warm we stayed close this time round. We will book again at a different time of year (season) to see the area from a different perspective.

Just WOW !!! Amazing Birthday Treat. My Friend ordered me a picnic and it was delivered to the tree house & they even put it in the fridge for me. Victoria & Jane perfect hosts !!! We were lucky to have the perfect summer weather but we stayed cool in the canopy of the trees !! We own A Hair Salon In Wadhurst & will defiantly be recommending this stay to our clients. Can't wait to come back !! Thankyou

A wonderful treat. The treehouses (we stayed in Muntjac with 2 kids and dogs) are beautifully appointed with everything you could need and a few things you've not thought of too. The setting is so peaceful and the buggies were a fun addition. Cowdray is really special.

We spent a fantastic few days in July at the Tree houses with some friends - with lovely warm welcome from Victoria and the team. The golf buggies were a splendid touch !
Everything inside the Treehouse is lovely and everything was thought of and done to high specifications.
We can't wait to return.

Visiting Cowdray British Open Polo Championship I have booked myself at THR. It was incredible. Was staying in Chukka overlooking the castle ruins and polo fields. So beautiful, so cosy, everything is done with so much taste and care for detail. Buggy at your disposal all the time. I really enjoyed buying organic food at the local shop and drived the buggy back to the tree house to enjoy fresh food and glass of wine on the terrase. Paul and Jane were incredibly helpful and nice. Definitely will be back and I can highly recommend it as a peaceful hidaway or a great place to stay when you are in Cowdray for polo or golf.

Everything about this stay was 5*, from the early communication following a booking through to the welcome on arrival (including a fabulous hamper of goodies from the Cowdry shop), to the actual treehouse experience, and lets not forget the super friendly and helpful Victoria!
Attention to detail is everywhere, a golf buggy ride to not only bring your luggage to the accomodation that also minimises noise during the stay, the luxurious bed and bedding, all furnishings that beautifully and tastefully decorate the treehouse.
We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the deer below us, listening to the owls in the evening and appreciating the beautiful sunset.
The treehouses are in a perfect location to enjoy the wonderful town of Midhurst.
We WILL be back!!

We had a two night stay and absolutely loved it! All communication in the run up to our stay was really clear, with great welcome packs provided in advance to help us plan our stay. We had a wonderful warm welcome and golf buggy ride out to our Treehouse (The Griffin). It was beautifully crafted both inside and out, really well appointed for kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, and had some lovely touches to the decor (what a fabulous boot room!), plus a super welcome hamper with lots of lovely treats from the Cowdray Farm Shop & Cafe. The treehouse was perfect for a romantic break away from the hustle and bustle. My highlight was watching a deer bound past whilst having a morning coffee in the early morning sunshine on the veranda, so very peaceful! Thank you to everyone who made the stay so special.

We cannot recommend THR enough! We had a 2 night stay and the experience was amazing. The location is beautiful, the interiors were so well designed and it was the little details and touch’s that made such a difference, creating an environment perfect to unwind, relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. We came back so refreshed and recharged, we will definitely be back! Also to mention the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stunning treehouse equipped to a very high standard. The bed is HUGE and very comfortable and the bathroom is very nice with the bonus of an outside bath in addition to the inside shower. The kitchen has everything you could need including coffee maker and milk frother. The setting is ideal overlooking woods and fields and close to the polo field if you want to wander down and watch a match or just look at all the horses. The addition of the golf buggy was genius as it makes getting around the estate easy and fun. There is a very nice farm shop and café on the estate and it is an easy 25 minute walk into Midhurst where there are a number of dog friendly pubs that serve food - just be aware that most do not serve food on a Monday or Tuesday.
Victoria is just lovely and very helpful. A fabulous few days away and i highly recommend staying here

We had the most perfect stay! From the initial contact with the team when booking and right the way through to checking out, Victoria was a superstar. We stayed in the Muntjac treehouse, everything had been thought of and the interior was stunning. It was peaceful and quiet, perfect to rest and recharge. It served as a great base to explore nearby and it was a delight to come back to each day. I shall definitely be back for another visit and will wholeheartedly recommend to family and friends.

Everything was amazing from the moment we arrived and was greeted by Victoria our hostess. She explained all the information in great detail then accompanied us up with our dog (first time in an E-buggy, so she was rather nervous, however after the second time she soon became accustomed to it}. From the drive up to our tree house - 'Griffin' to the moment we opened the doors, it was like walking into another world far far away from the hustle and bustle of every day hectic, crazy life. We immediately felt the peace, and tranquillity of this beautiful haven. The tree house was furnished to high standards throughout with great attention to detail with quality furnishings and fittings. The first night was just unwinding and indulging in the high produce goods from the farm shop on Cowdray Estate. The second day we ventured and explored the woods, the nearby towns/villages and the ruins on the Estate. We were also fortunate enough to see the back end of a fallow deer on 2 separate occasions. Sadly, although the weather was dry and mostly sunny, it was far too chilly to make use of the outdoor tub on the veranda, but still never mind. The whole experience was sheer bliss!

We had an amazing stay at THR! Both Jane and Victoria were so welcoming.
The treehouse was beautifully decorated and sparklingly clean!
Our children had the most fantastic trip and did not want to leave-we had tears!
We would 100% recommend this to all of our family and friends.
