Absolute terrible company to deal with

Absolute terrible company to deal with, the customer service is non existent, I have been waiting for refunds on my flight tickets and now they are ignoring my emails, have blocked me from commenting on their Facebook page. They may be hiding something ?

Like everyone else on this thread...

Like everyone else on this thread it seems, I also have not had a refund.

My flight was cancelled in June, I was told 10 weeks. Again I have chased multiple times, emails and phone calls. I have spoken to British Airways who have confirmed they have refunded they money to TravelPack. I have had every excuse under the sun.

It has now been 24 weeks and still no luck.

No refund nearly 6 months passed

My travel dates for 2 tickets: 9th April 2020 and 16th April 2020. Both tickets were cancelled due to the pandemic. Initially Travelpack refused to give a refund and then the refund was finally initiated on 26th May 2020 saying I will be refunded in 10 to 12 weeks. When I ask for the status these are the reply given by them
18th August: Prioritizing the refund
24th August: Refund will be done next week
3rd September: Prioritizing the refund
15th September: Refund will be done by 20th Sept.
22nd September: Refund will be done today or latest by tomorrow
24th September: Refund will be done on October 7th.
8th October: Refund will be done on November 7th.
I don't trust them anymore. Clearly, there is some fraud going on in this company. Its been nearly 6 months I been waiting for my refund. I am struggling financially due to the pandemic and need this refund urgently. All my friends have received their refunds with other companies. Please never book tickets from this company.

‪If you book with this company & your flight is cancelled you will NOT see a refund. The airline has refunded travel pack but they have not passed on to me. Please be warned. Ive called so many times, emailed so many times and they give dates and false promises which pass.‬

Never again

Like all comments I am reading on here. I have been waiting since April. Told the same lies everytime I email the customer service. Who will be refunding me for the interest I have been charged every month on my credit card.
I will never book with travelpack again....

Still waiting on refund from flight…

Still waiting on refund from flight which got cancelled in June, it is now near the end of October and stil no money. They keep responding with delay tactics. I strongly recommend people use the chargeback service to get the money back.

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting! Flights cancelled due to COVID, was told 10 weeks until refund which absolutely fine with! That date has come and gone, and just been told it’s another month or so. I counted on this money coming back to be able to pay for other things I’ve budgeted for and just being told I have to wait. Want to hear from a manager ASAP!

Please please please avoid booking with this company. I appreciate flight refunds are slow due to Covid but after 7 months of trying I am still waiting. They’ll tell you lie after lie after lie!! Learn from my mistake. Pay a few pounds more for peace of mind!!

THEY ARE THIEVES ! They are keeping the money refunded to them by airlines to prop up their company my flight was cancelled in March ! They PROMISED three times to pay me back by a certain date and they have not .. I am filling out the small claims form right now ! I would advise you all to do the same before their company goes under and we all loose our Money

Bad Experience

Such a bad experience witht this agent. DUe to COvid my flight got cancelled and they promised to send money within 3-4 months. Its 7 months now and they havent returned the money back after constant calls, emails etc. I will never use them again in my life and make sure that nobody i know , will use them.

While same time, i have booked my wife ticket through Traveltrolley and they were good enough to return the money back from the same flight within 3 months, with full refund

STAY CLEAR OF TRAVEL PACK

Great booking the slights through Travel Pack, ever since I needed to change the flights however, it’s been abysmal.

Customer services over the phone are extremely difficult to make sense out of, are never clear cut and hardly ever are able explain exactly what it is you are even asking. In emails they can’t even get my name correct.

I first wanted a refund, they said I was only allowed a voucher. That voucher was then so say meant to be used by this year which was ridiculous, on BA website says it was allowed to be used by 2023. So I asked for a refund which they said would take 3 months and it’s been almost 5.

Still no end in sight to when they are going to refund me my money.

Shockingly bad service and will never use them again and would strongly advise anyway to stay well clear, isn’t worth the stress.

Echoing the reviews below. Flights cancelled due to covid. Refund promised within 8-10 weeks minus £30 admin fee per person. Almost 16 weeks of emails/empty promises/missed deadlines. In the end I raised a dispute with my credit card, a week or so later a full refund appeared including the "admin" fee. Avoid this company.

Don’t waste you time and money

Bunch of chancers took over 6 months to get our money back and it was £100 shy. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. No communication at all and it took an intervention by the credit card company to get our money. Our next stop will be trading standards. Do not use these clowns

Total lack of customer service

I have finally received a refund for my cancelled flight some 6 months after the fact. I was very patient to begin with, understanding that lots of people were in my situation due to Covid, and that the refund had to be processed by the flight company first.

I was annoyed however that Travel pack were keeping a £30 admin fee.

The generous 10 week deadline came and went, and when chased I was told that the flight company still hadn't released the payment. Another wait, then another chase.

After this travel pack confirmed that they would refund me but continued to withhold the payment. I complained and said that I now wanted the full refund including the admin fee. This was ignored.

I finally got the payment the same day after ringing and threatening legal action. I am still being ignored regarding the missing £30 from the complaint which has not even been acknowledged.

Zero help. Zero refund.

We were in Thailand when Emirates grounded all flights due to covid. Our return flight was booked via Travelpack. They could offer us no help in sourcing alternatives to get home and said we would need to do this ourselves.

Since returning home they have informed us we are not entitled to anything for the cancelled return flights as we had already taken the outbound portion of the return ticket. They have taken no responsibility for our travel arrangements either while we were still in Thailand or after we got home.

I’m not sure how they are legally allowed to operate like this. I would not use this company again and would always recommend booking direct with the airline in future.

Appalling company!

Appalling company!
Like many, due to the pandemic this year I had to cancel flight. Travelpack assured me I would receive a 100% refund. Countless emails later & I am still waiting!!!!

I can not recommend this agency

I can not recommend this agency. I was told to be refunded in 10 weeks but now It’s been 16 weeks. I know the airline have refunded my money already because my friend have booked a same flight through other agency and he got refund a month ago.
I am very angry about their lies. They don’t keep their words and never call me back why it happened. I feel like totally ignored and neglected. I am sick of making calls every week and ask my money back. We all know that covin 19 situation has been bad in travel industry but Who would want to book flights through a travel agency with this terrible customer service in the future? They will lost their place not just because the lack of travel in covid pandemic but how to dealing with customer.

Complain to ABTA!

I have issued a formal complaint to ABTA and urge EVERYONE to do the same in the hope that some action can be taken against Travelpack!

My flight was cancelled by the airline 5.5 months ago and like many of the other reviews, I am continually told my refund is 'in the queue'. They are unable to provide me with a timeframe as to how much longer it will take.
