Website shows $430 originally, after filling up personal details and going to payment page, the price went up to $535. Really lousy company! Do not book here! Other sites like trip / expedia / even the airline's own website are cheaper.

Traveloka Regulations
Traveloka is a convenient platform for booking flights, hotels, and vacation packages. However, I have noticed an issue when booking hotels through the app. Similar to Airbnb, Traveloka partners with hotel or property owners, but sometimes there are no clear regulations about additional charges.
Many customers, including myself, have experienced situations where hotels request extra fees during check-in that were never mentioned during the booking process. Unfortunately, Traveloka does not seem to provide strict rules or fair solutions to protect customers in these cases. Even worse, there are no proper consequences for hotels that engage in this kind of unfair practice.
I believe Traveloka should improve transparency and establish stronger regulations to ensure customers are fully informed about all costs upfront, and that hotels are held accountable for hidden charges. This would help build more trust and provide a better experience for all users.

If there's 0 stars i would give it. One of the worst CS i have ever encountered. Flight rescheduled to an unfavorable time from 3pm to 5pm, and then 5pm to 6pm, i initiated a refund since April 19, mind you its august 15th now, no updates, complete silence.
I'll take it as a donation for this poor ass company. I will will be boycotting regardless of how cheap their fares are anymore.

Trying to make a booking but price doubled upon payment
Trying to make a booking but didn't make payment as was checking the final details. Then didn't realise it was held for an hour. Made another booking. When check out. Price becomes double. Added up from previous booking.
I thought it was my error. Tried to make a 3rd booking. But due to unsuccessful payment. This booking was on hold. I cancelled the first 2 bookings. Then make another one. Payment page becomes four times the price. Which I calculated was an add up of previous bookings.
Contacted customer service , she insisted is according to the price of the airlines.Despite showing her the screenshots prove of the live search price. She still strongly insisted it is airline which updated the price.
Totally not helpful and no problem solving on their system error.
And can tell me if I can accept the price, pay for it. If I can't then don't pay.
What the F this platform is. My advise is to avoid at all cost. If I didn't see carefully before making payment. I would have pay more then double and not possible to claim back. As what other users' experiences.

Contacted the CS. Result was same. Nothing solved.
First was kept insisting is airline that change the price. And price is not final until in payment page. It will show the final amount. When it is clearly stated the price I will pay in final review page.
Then gave me another so-called reason is ticket flexibility. So the price will change. WTF is that when I didn't even opt for a flex ticket during selection.
Even I keep repeating that the price is added up from previous unpaid cancelled bookings. They still insisted that is the price I should pay. Instead of looking into this glitch or maybe unethical practice to maybe scam you to pay if you are not careful to look thru all details and price at payment page. They only say sorry for the inconvenience, but still stand on their grounds and asked me to understand.

Title: Unfair change fees and zero support – never again!
We booked a return ticket from Sydney to Brisbane for about $400 AUD. Later, we needed to change the time, and Traveloka quoted $860 — more than double the original fare!
Even after speaking directly with Qantas, they said they couldn’t help because the booking was through Traveloka. It’s extremely frustrating that the airline can’t assist and the agent is charging such ridiculous fees.
We tried everything, but Traveloka support didn’t offer any reasonable solution. This has completely ruined our trust in them.
💬 Advice: Avoid Traveloka — book directly through airlines to save yourself stress, time, and money.

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked a flight through Traveloka.
in October 2024 I paid for a premium economy seat from Phuket to Melbourne.
When I boarded the plane, I was told that no such seat existed on that plane, so I was placed in economy.
That's when the fun began.
I contacted Traveloka for a refund of the extra I had paid for the premium seat.
They initially offered me a credit of $50 to spend with them (as if). They increased this to $ 100 credit (!)
To cut a very long story short (in which we have exchanged 53 e-mails over ten months) we negotiated a settlement of $350, which was much less that the amount I had paid.
DO NOT under any circumstances deal with this company. They are a disgrace to the travel industry.

My family couldn’t travel because of multiple unresolved issues. no solution from Traveloka
I booked flights through Traveloka on 30 July 2025 (Booking ID: 1272936707) for my parents, flying with Air India on 5 August 2025.
2 major issues made our trip impossible:
I reported an incorrect email address on the same day of booking with the correct details so that tickets could be sent properly. Traveloka never made the update, and we never received the e-ticket.
When we contacted Air India in the first days after booking, our names were not found in the airline system. Later, payment was only charged on 2 August, several days after booking.
We contacted Traveloka multiple times, but responses were repetitive and avoided addressing the core issues. To this day, no refund or travel voucher has been offered.
I am requesting Traveloka escalate this to management and provide fair compensation for the full fare paid.

Cannot believe how many hours I have wasted on this site. Constantly advertises a price with the search engines and when all passenger information is entered, seats chosen etc and payment to be complete it comes back with "Flight unavailable. Select another" which is nearly always double the price booked or available on other platforms. Great for booking hotels train tickets within Indonesia but never again will I bother for air travel

Scammer beware
Scam! Beware when purchasing product from Traveloka, they put misleading information, and then when contacted tried to sweep the issue under the rug. Even after providing the proof of purchase and statement from provider, they still tried to say everything was correct. Buyer beware, especially in Australia as they just opened an office here in July 17th.

Reschedule is easy and clear
I need to reschedule my flights a lot as my business trip schedule is somewhat unpredictable, and their reschedule feature has been very useful. It's easy & clear.
I found non-hotel options are still limited for Australia, but they have a wide-range of accommodation options in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand.
