I recently had the chance to experience their service... have to say, they really know how to put together a great experience!
However, I did find the online booking process to be a bit clunky. It could definitely use some improvements to make it more user-friendly.
Despite that little hiccup, I can't rave enough about the tours themselves. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and they made the whole experience unforgettable

I booked a flight to Dubai from Toronto via Ciaro in December 2021. But due to some unforeseen circumstances in Cairo, all the borders in Cairo were shut and our flights were then canceled because of the border shutdown. We then received an email from Travelgenio stating our flight had been canceled and the refund process had been started. Since then there has been no update on our refund and I have tried contacting them multiple times with no reply.

Website is not responding while I am trying to change departure date .

My partner and I booked flights through Travelgenio from Johannesburg to London (in March 2020) right before Covid happened and we received a voucher from the airline and due to covid regulations in SA constantly changing we weren’t able to use the vouchers. The airline claims to have refunded back to Travelgenio and we have been struggling to get hold of the agency to confirm this. We are desperate to get our money back and we are feeling hopeless as its a lot of money to lose!

No way of getting in touch. No communication possible, don't answer emails or what have you. No receipts of the purchase.

I made a booking on the 4th of July 2022, with the booking reference 21358974, but I did not receive my tickets. I wrote several emails, yet have not received any response that satisfied my request. Please send me my tickets as soon as possible.

I requested a full refund for a flight Dublin to Chicago with as I my flight was cancelled by Airlines. I checked with flight operator American Airlines - the airline processed a full refund in May 2020.
Until now I did not received refund from Travelgenio. Travelgenio refund status is still as pending. I am
requesting a full refund of 555.70 EUR frin Travelgenio, but they do not respond.
If I don't get refund from travelgenio I will inform airlines that travelgenio is a swindler. I will also report a theft to a local police and inform a travel licencing agency about travlegenio deceives customers.

Completely fraud, stolen 415 euro, not able to contact support or at least check my bookings (emails simply doesnt come while trying to access My Trips". Not received tickets within 72 hours+

Had a flight booked to Prague from Heathrow and the airline canceled. Have been in contact with SmartWings who told me to claim through TravelGenio. My emails are getting ignored and I'm just going round in circles with no refund. I don't know how this company exists and is still functioning. They are a massive scam and I urge everyone to NEVER book with them.

This company from the start has been terrible, I tried to get a refund for one of the two tickets, after 6 hours of calls and getting hung up on over and over again, I finally talked to someone that said my one of the two flights to Cambodia is not refundable but the return flight is, I have yet to see a refund after over two months still, also the other passenger was supposed to fly out of phnom penh on the 13th of feb ( today).. the airport is closed in phnom penh, travelgenio changed the departure flight to the 14th with no notification, and also no return flight from Soule Korea home. so the flight was change with no knowledge to us, and the new flight home only get the other passenger to korea!!! we had to buy a one way ticket home for $1200 because Travelgenio does not do their job, there is no point calling them they are impossible to get ahold of and they wont fix anything. stay away from this company 100 %

I´m waiting for my refund for almost 2 years.
I´ve sent all the information required by your agents in 4 of August 2021 and never get any feedback.
The airline (Air Astana) authorised my refund in FEBRUARY!!

Your agents keep telling me that I have to contact Travelgenio through the email the contacted me before but when I did, I just received an automatic message that this email is no working anymore.

Then I go to "My trips" on your site but there is no option to contact you!! The only option is to see that my refund is not ready and that you are working on my process...

Absolutely unfair way to work.
Still hoping to get my refund though.

Hi everyone I'm desperate for some advice as like a lot of you I'm frustrated and extremely annoyed with travelgenio and their trading standards 😡😡 I have contacted this company about 20 times over 3 months now sometimes 40 mins on hold and a rediculous amount of emails to try use vouchers for flights that were cancelled, I have been told repeatedly that they will sort it "that's when they don't hang up on me" and as recent as today they have told me the request was not sent to rebook the flights to air canada even though I have an email from their colleague on the 8th November to say the request was sent!!!
I don't understand why they won't rebook the flights as they have been paid for by travelgenio on my behalf "unless they have been refunded and that's the reason"
This is shameful what this company is doing to people 😡😡I would really appreciate any help please

I have been waiting since 7 April 2020 for Travelgenio to arrange any refund for cancelled flights for two, business class, from Johannesburg to London. Previous attempts to contact Travelgenio have all failed. It is also not possible for those of us issued tickets with a reference number of less than 8 digits to use Travelgenio’s website which now cynically insists we can only use it by supplying an 8 digit reference.
Travelgenio was contacted on my behalf by an official EU consumer agency and even that agency failed to get a response. It seems this company is headquartered in Madrid and quite unconcerned by the losses incurred by its customers elsewhere.
Best advice is to avoid Travelgenio scam artists.

I try to contact the airline and they push me back to Travelgenio... emails changed , the site does not recognize my email ever to check my booking and basically no customer service whatsoever.. Worse company , would not recommend to use it . Please avoide . Bad communication . Our flight was cancelled and we received 2 emails from that company confirming full refund . Mofos in one word. April flights booked and cancelled by the airline in March yet, no refund received. Our reservation falls under Covid-19 waiver policy based on both criteria (1. Travel dates Jan-Nov; 2. booked on/before 15 Mar). I'm working in the Chargeback Department for one of the American Travel Agencies hence, I'm well aware of all the regulations, eligibility and the refund process so all the bul***t you get from them via email/calls/forms is crap! If you're eligible for a full refund, you're surely eligible to get it and they're just holding your money!

Your website is not user friendly you get the run around when you call then it just hangs up on you I bought my ticket to New Zealand in March 2020 it was $700 I see you took out your $50 for fees and I still get nothing that’s how you treat your customers I am not happy 😔😔😔actually sad cause the nice lady I spoke to in March assured me that my refund would be in my bank account before 3 months is out please give my refund back
