Customer service is always friendly and prompt! I don't have a smartphone, so I'm unable to scan QR codes on the bag to get the link to generate the shipping labels, but their support team quickly sent me a link to register the bags. I then found out that my local UPS doesn't support QR code shipping either (tried to print labels, but kept timing out with errors, so printed QR code). I reached out to customer service again with bag details asking for printable shipping labels and they got back to me in less than 24 hours with the labels. Lastly, the service they provide of recycling clothes to keep them out of landfills is such an amazing service to the community and the world, and I greatly appreciate them for starting this program.

Not-so-happy return
I hauled a huge take back bag to UPS and they told me that Happy Returns doesn’t work in my area and I needed the original UPS label. There was no way to get the UPS label without contacting customer service, but there’s no phone number to contact Trashie, just an online form. So I ended up having to abandon and waste a bag and clothes at UPS because apparently it takes 48 hours just to get a reply from Trashie. First time user, and last time.

Customer service is great
Customer service is great. We live in a rural area and it was a challenge when we could no longer use USPS to send bags back, but everything has been sorted. I really appreciate being able to divert our old clothes and shoes from the landfill.

OK!! Trashie wins the Best Customer Service EVER Award!!! I posted (somewhere) that my dog had eaten my Trashie package. Truth! Today I received the cutest note (regarding said episode) and 2 more Trashie bags. No Customer Service
No Customer Service - Takes money; I signed up for the service 3 bags for $60 every 6 months. I cancelled the service last October 2024, hence, received only 2 bags every 6 months for $60. This April charged 63.56 for 2 bags, they don't have customer service, over charge scam. Don't it!!! The trashie cash is only $20 for each order you place!

Isn’t worth it unless you have tons of money to waste
I’ve used trashie for years, but now I actively discourage others from using. Trashie use to have rewards that made using the service worth it. Now the “rewards” are worthless coupon codes for obscure overpriced business. Continue to donate locally and trash items responsibly in your area.

You’re always welcome to donate to local charity organizations, but it’s important to know there’s no guarantee those items won’t end up in landfill — their purpose isn’t recycling. Ours is. That’s why we take full responsibility for everything we receive.

Good concept, but rewards are VERY flawed
I wish I would have read real reviews before buying a pack of Trashie bags. I think the concept of being able to easily recycle clothes, shoes etc is SO needed. The problem for me is their pitch that you can get rewards by doing so. The rewards they offer are mostly for first time customers of a specific store/company, and many are rewards you could get on your own as a first time customer. I would consider buying the bags again just to get rid of things I no longer need but cannot donate, but I don't like the deceptive marketing of the crappy rewards.

QR labels tricky, but good customer service
I’ve used this service a few times and like it! Sometimes the QR code labels on the bags have trouble scanning, so I had to contact customer support, and they got back to me with a solution almost immediately! I value that responsiveness.

Years of cash banked and cant spend it because I dont want to shop more! What is the use of recycling if all you are doing is pushing us to consume and buy more!?! The rewards suck and are completely useless. I started when the company was just For Days and now Trashie explains the company. I want my hundreds of dollars back!

I gifted bags
I gifted bags to a friend for Christmas, but needed to know if there is a process to transfer them. I emailed Trashie and received response immediately. Turns out it's easy! I'm sending my first bag in soon, and so is my friend.

Using rewards
Getting the Trashie bags and mailing them was so easy that's for the 2 stars. But using the rewards has been a nightmare. I used the Lowes reward and clicked on the link bought some items but my rewards does not show I used it. When I check on my account it shows my Lowes award but doesn't show I have used it. I have called twice to resolve the issue but I do not get a clear answer. It's been over a month now. Paying for bags and getting no real solution for rewards has turned me off of Trashie.
