As an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) working abroad, I send money to my loved ones in the Philippines every month. Skrill saves me time and effort because I no longer need to visit a remittance center. I can send money anytime using just my phone. Thank you so much.

Going through hoops to register which doesn't work in the end

Tried to register on the web, forced me to provide all my personal information, only to then tell me I can't complete my registration on the web and need to install the skrill app and do it on the phone.

Ok, annoying, but I did it anyway. Installed the app, completed all the info on the phone, and then I get a message that I can't complete the registration because I have a hidden IP, and I should disable my VPN. I have no VPN.

I tried switching from wifi to mobile, still didn't work. I checked a "Whats my IP" website, and my IP is completely visible, including the area where I live, nothing hidden about it. Skrill just wouldn't let me register. Guess it's back to Paypal.
