The tradingpost.com.au is a magnet for scams.

The tradingpost.com.au acted in an unsolicited manner to lure me away from their competition (carsales.com.au), with the proposal of "a free advert if my car were not to sell." Once in, i was bombarded with scammers pretending to buy my car on the premis that i buy a bogus car check prior to inspection. Once I had taken down the advert to protect myself, I was informed by tradingpost. that this breached their policy and ad no refund was due. I was left out of pocket, time wasted and a bad taste in my mouth that the whole experience was just a scam. Warning - be careful.

Good but still prefer the paper version

like most Australians I still prefer the paper version, but this TP website is very good. But after so many years using the paper version it so so hard to switch to the online version of TP.

However the TP website is easy to use to find what I want and I use a lot both to buy and sell.
