Scumbag builder
Chris McDonald incompetent builder from Belfast , I unfortunately hired this rat in January 2021 to do work to my new home.
I bought brand new laminate flooring for the house , Chris cut all flooring too short , and threw away all my skirting which I had explained to him I was keeping , he broke 2 door frames off , broke A radiator, cut my brand new kitchen worktop completely wrong and with a blunt tool , Chris agreed this was his fault at the time and said “ wel sort something out don’t worry “ . Fitted all wrong pipes for new bathroom leading to serious flooding which destroyed my floor and ceilings downstairs, he fitted my vanity unit in the wrong place , He broke my brand new shower tray , and threw away the box of my new shower door before realising it wasn’t the right one meaning I could not get a refund on this . Chris threw all rubbish , old pipes and parts of my old skirting out on to the roof of my house.
Chris had already been paid £600 cash .
Chris stopped turning up to the site . I contacted him about the damage he had left me with with photographic evidence, and asked for my money back , Chris had clearly abandoned the site at this stage and explained “ I owe you nothing “ and was even expecting more money ! in txt msgs.
Hard lesson learned never pay anybody before Any work at all is finished and inspected.
