Sales rep at the Puyallup show was super easy to talk to, and was very informative on the product that I was seeking. I was a long time Leupold and vortex consumer but after having conversations and able to handle and look thru the binoculars, I was sold on the quality of the products that tract has to offer and will purchase future products.

Met Jon at the Denver Sportsman Show and bought a high end pair of binoculars. Looking forward to using them during upcoming big game season. Great product, price and person.

I bought this scope for the amount of internal elevation available. A one M.O.A. shot at a mile is my goal and this scope makes it possible to reach that far without issue. In fact, I should be able to make it to 2200 yards without holding over or using a prisim. Two weeks ago, I hit steel at 1570 yards on a mini buffalo silhouette. From 100 yard zeros to 1300 yards, my scopes are almost never pushed past 15x. The land owner and I thought we heard a hit on the target.I went to 25x to see if I could visually confirm. I saw a faint mark on the target and told him where I thought I hit. We packed up for the day as we were freezing and then drove to the target. Sure enough, there was a hit about the size of a silver dollar right where I called it. I'm not sure if spotting hits at this distance is normal with a riflescope, but it was impressive none the less.

I haven't received my scope yet, since I just ordered it at Houston Safari Club this past week. However, I handled the demo scopes and they all looked great. The sales rep at the show was fantastic and very interpersonal. He also gave great background on all the features of the various scopes. Looking forward to trying it out.

I bought the Tract Mirage Cap for my 4.5-30x56 Toric for mirage mitigation, but it has become one of my favorite additions to my NRL22 kit. I used to do a lot of photography (when we used film 😊) so I knew a bit about f-stop management.
I discovered the ring is not just for mirage mitigation but allowed me to increase the Toric’s optical performance by slightly reducing the effective f-stop - increasing depth of field. The rejuvenation of memory from my old Olympus 35mm came one day when I put the mirage ring on and forgot to take it off.
I was shooting a KYL at 48 yards and pivoted to the 100-yard target and realized as I reached for my parallax dial, the target was almost crisp to sight. It allowed me to easily see multiple targets from 48 to 63 to 79 to 100 yards - remaining clearly visible and in focus at the same time.
For NRL22 where stages often require rapid transitions across mixed distances, this added an advantage for me.
It basically minimizes, and in some cases eliminates the need for mid stage parallax adjustments. Targets stay clear, reticle edges clean, and contrast improves, even in challenging lighting.
If you are looking to streamline your adjustments and maintain consistent visual clarity during a COF station, and across common match distances, the Mirage Cap delivers far more than mirage mitigation. It provides a real performance edge.

My experience with tract has been outstanding, the quality is so impressive that I have already added two of their scopes to my collection. Had a small issue gave them a call, and was shocked to have the owner pick up and resolve everything on the spot. Their service is impeccable and the product quality is unrivaled.

Talked with Jon about using a gift card as a partial payment on a scope I needed. No problem and he personally handled the split payment. Superior customer service and top notch optics are all I have ever experienced with Tract Optics.
