Horrible company

Horrible company. Avoid using. There products don’t work, you will end up spending countless hours on hold calling their customer service teams who have no ability to help you. I purchased a mobile phone plan with them

We canceled our plans with TPG

We canceled our plans with TPG. They still charging me and when we called customer service they said we transferred you to account department and after transferring I waited for 1 hour and 10 minutes then I hung up next day I called again same waited for long then I had to hung up. They said we will call back but after calling back they want us to wait as well. I did try 6 or 7 times in past 2 days no luck. Looks like our $65 is gone

I canceled my NBN internet service due…

I canceled my NBN internet service due to a week-long outage, which significantly impacted my ability to work remotely. The retention department informed me that a refund would be issued, as my monthly bill was paid just three days prior to the service interruption. However, I noticed a $20.00 charge from TPG on my bank statement. Upon contacting them, I was transferred to three different agents, with the final agent stating that I would receive a text message within 24 hours.

Just a disaster

Just a disaster, easy to create a plan and very hard to cancel. You need to call their number, wait, website most of times does't work. I created a temporary number for my visiting mother and I ended up paying for 10 months.
It is apparently cheap and this is what you get.

I signed up for Wi-Fi and it has been three days since I signed up, but it won't connect. Just when I think it connected, the light instantly turns orange and I can't use the Wi-Fi. Calls to sales get through instantly, but calls to technology take over an hour to connect.

Terrible service and technicians

Terrible service and technicians.
Without wifi now after 3 days and 15+ hours on the phone with representatives
After purchasing a new broadband plan, after confirmation of activation came we still had no wifi. So we rang waited on hold for hours, were told to keep waiting. The following day came, rang again, were told to check wifi router and ethernet cables. We insisted they were the same as setup as had previously worked for our old provider. Service rep insisted it was our setup, she escalated our situation up, new rep said the same thing, following the same script, after going in circles for close to an hour the call ended with tpg claiming they could do nothing for us. So we purchased a new wifi and ethernet cable, but nothing, so we rang back had to follow the same script as before, after informing we has new equipment, one technician stated there was nothing wrong with our original router and cables. And said that tpg have activated it to the wrong address, he then escalated it, were we had to explain to the next person that our router wasnt the issue, as they have apparently no way to pass on any infomation to the other technicians. They wouldn't believe that tpg would activate it to the wrong address and passed it on again, no one at tpg seems to know what is going, got sick of being passed around in a circle. Went with Aussie broadband instead, took 1 hour not days.

I have been with TPG for 13 years as a…

I have been with TPG for 13 years as a business user.
I was happy with my service until I was constantly harassed by Vocus, the new owner's business branch system!
Well, I am super peaved with them because, for over 13 years, they capped me to a minimum of 50 Mbps with a static IP address. I just changed to Telstra as a public customer and got 25% more speed. Not only that, The have charged me the full amount for my next month even after I cancelled before the monthly due date. Since then, I can't contact them..... I am on hold for hours! What a DREADFUL COMPANY! DON'T DEAL WITH THEM! MY NExt step is to talk to my bank and make sure they have some sort of warning for they customers. But as far as I am concerned, THe Telecommunication Ombudsman should be involved.

Terrible experience

Absolutely ridiculous experience with TPG. They failed to port my number, offered me a refund, then completely ignored me for days. I had to go through my bank to get my money back because TPG wouldn’t fix their own mistake. Now they’re suddenly “escalating it to a senior officer” after I chased them nonstop. Constant hoops, zero accountability. Never again.

moden never arrives

Bought a 5g wifi home modem. It takes 5 days to deliver. 8 days on still no modem. I tried calling TPG customer service and they never answer the support line. If i push option 1 for sales, they answer in 15 sec. TPG is happy to sell their service but god forbid you try to reach support. I waited 3x for over 30 min and never get through. Cancelling their service.

TPG Worst customer service experience

I have been calling TPG for the past 5 days trying to cancel my Internet service. I have been put on hold for a number of hours each day without ever being connected to their accounts department. Promised call back requests have never been honoured. As you cannot cancel the service online (only via telephone) I'm continuing to pay for a service I can't use as I've now moved house.
TPG has the WORST customer service that I have ever experienced.

If I can give TPG 0 stars I would. My elderly mother had an issue with her land line for 3 weeks. On numerous calls with them, they then proceeded to expect her to troubleshoot?? 3 times they 'escalated' the issue to some imaginary technical team and they never called back. 3 times!! All 3 times my mother had to use her mobile to call them back and each time they 'escalated' it. There are no issues with the internet, but the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. A dreadful company to work with when there is an issue. Absolute dog shit service.

TPG Good Will Disappears

After receiving a $123 charge on my $30/month mobile account, for a NBN charge for some other user account, I spent 4hrs being passed between TPG Mobile and TPG NBN (two separate businesses that don't work together). In the end TPG reversed the $123 charge, invoiced as Good Will Credit. That good will disappeared as quick as their mobile calls drop out, with a second invoice with a new charge of $123, listed as Adhoc Charge. It seams involving TIO is the only way to get TPG to resolve issues.

Ridiculous

This is a one star in a long list of one stars. Do NOT get TPG. It is by far the worst internet provider that I have experienced, and in this past month our router provided by them has cut out multiple times an hour. If the internet was water, and we were trying to quench our thirst, TPGs container clearly has some large damning holes that wifi constantly leaks out of. I would've probably died of thirst if TPG was holding the container.

They don't care about their customers. Their support is agonisingly slow and talks you around in circles until they gaslight you into thinking your wifi is fixed. Don't even get me started on their pretend solutions. The first time we called, they promised to give DOUBLE the internet speed for an extra $20 a month. We did so. It was quite literally worse than before. We paid $20 for a downgrade. Then the second time they promised they send someone over to check our semi-useless router. We waited three months. No one ever came. Then the third time, they once again talked us in circles and we never got anywhere for two hours on the phone.
Let me clarify for people wanting TPG:
- If you want an incompetent provider who only cares about money, pick this one!
- If you want to waste your money, pick TPG!
- If you really think TPG is good, think again!

Please. Don't pick TPG.

This has been the most horrible and…

This has been the most horrible and frustrating service of all time. No resolution for consistent internet connection for over a month, customer service that fails to follow up when it promises to, constant need to follow up and wait 1hr on a call, transfer around internally for an hour until you need to hang up, and confusing internal processes and no one willing to just fix the issue.

Never had a worst experience than this

Never had a worst experience than this. Stayed on a 1 hour long hold and still no one is taking the call. Ran out of patience and cut the call. I mean who even put their customer to hold for a freaking hour as if TPG is the only one provider? Too bad customer service. Idk why people are using it. And mind you my call was to buy a extra 4GB data for freaking $20. Like what the actual freak. So worst.
