I just noticed that of 18 May 2026, this TPG mob has double charged me by automatic debit for two phone accounts. This has happened with them previously. They are sneaky as you cannot contact them... See more

Where to start... I was with TPG for 3 weeks. The first day I got the box the internet was working despite receipt a text that everything was ready. I call TPG and sit on the phone to someone named Heide for over an hour. that was doing random checks getting me to google IP addresses and run tests and change settings of my internet. She set up a technician to look at it. I knew this wasn't right, I asked to speak to someone else which she refused saying that someone else will do the exact same thing. She said " if I want to speak with someone else I need to hang up and call back." Which is what I did. I spoke with a guy named John who was able to fix the issues in less than 5 minutes. All I did was had a cable plugged in the wrong port. A simple check from heide first would have saved us both over an hour of time and the technicians that still for some reason took a look. After about a week the internet would go through several days of dropping out every 10 minutes for 4-5 hours. Customer service is terrible and just tell you to restart the modem or they do a manual reset. This happened at least once a week. Until a couple of days ago where I decided I'd had enough after just 3 weeks. I call up and they forced me into getting a technician to look at the service straight away. I declined three times though the lady was stubborn and wouldn't let me leave. After 15minutes of being hold she came back saying the technician wasn't available. Which I replied "please. Just let me leave TPG." What an awful experience to be forced into getting service straight away. I now understand why it takes their technicians 48 hours to look at all the jobs - because people leave after a shit service and they help them immediately then but not when they actually need it. I requested a refund as the service that I received of a "reliable connection" was a straight up lie. The lady on the phone said I most likely would not get this, but I would not have to pay the normal $30 fee of cancellation. So because I understand why TPG Is one of the cheapest providers now. I hope that they refund the full amount of my service. As I finish writing this review I received a text from the technical saying the service is working fine after it dropped out again this morning.
I've have now left TPG and am waiting for the new internet to be set up. I have signed up with super loop. Super loop for a few dollars more gets you an extra 500Mbps and extra 30Mbps upload speed.
DO NOT JOIN TPG. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY LEAVE ASAP. I'm telling everyone I know this so they leave TPG and hopefully prevent them from ever signing with them.
Customer service is always lovely and super helpful.
Best customer service in any industry I have dealt with . Only company that will actually call you back
Terrible service. Called up to cancel and they dragged the call on for 15 minutes trying to convince me to stay. Never offered anything cheaper or better than what I was moving to though. Then when I finally convinced them I was leaving, they told me I had to give them 30 days notice even though I was already off contract with them because it was "in the T&Cs". Absolute misers. Won't go back.
Wish I could give ZERO. Moved across to them and they didn’t set up my account or connect nbn. So no internet. Everything was working fine before transfer. Modem is fine and capable of nbn
Waited an hour on tech support before I gave up. Transferring to Aussie Broadband.
I have been with TPG for 4 years and love them. My internet and mobile are with them
Been a customer of Tpg for 11 years and finally cancelled my account with them. For cancelling my account they are charging me extra $84.99 apparently they have 30 days notice period. Their internet is terrible, I do not recommend this company to anybody.
I called about the land line not working the young lady who helped me was very understanding to the the situation her name is Jenna she walked me through to get it up running again she was very very good to deal with are very nice person and very patient
Rubbish service. Never get internet from this company. My home internet gets regularly disconnected which makes working from home a disaster.
public reviews already posted says it all - Do better
worst internet provider ever
Have been with them for 3 years its really slow and the internet drops out almost all the time customer service is disgraceful everything about TPG is awful would not recommend at all unless you want problem after problem
Can't even sign up without the website glitching and causing a hassle. Customer service doesn't listen and says the same thing over and over.
Avoid at all costs!!
I have been with TPG for 2 months now and have had nothing but trouble, The internet would drop out at least once a week but over the last 5 days it has been horrible, it drops out 2-3 times a day, for up to 4 hours at a time. I have had to contact them 7 times and cant get anywhere, each time I get transferred to another “level of support” who tell me the issue has been escalated and I will receive an update within 24 hours, but no one ever does!! No updates! No closer to resolving the issue.
I switched for a cheaper deal, big mistake. For the 2 weeks I was with them I had internet for 3 days. Was tricky getting the modem set up and they weren’t helpful. Then the internet stopped completely and after phone call after call and them telling me they couldn’t fix it remotely so they would send a technician out, they never turned up!! When I called they told me they were still trying to fix it remotely even though I had an appointment booked? Very poor communication skills, no one seems to really know what they are talking about, they lack empathy for how much stress they put me through, would absolutely NOT recommend!
Approximately 1 year ago I was forced to change my mobile number as I was at risk of IDENTITY THEFT.
I explained this to TPG, installed new SIM card & immediately destroyed the sim for previous number.
HERE I AM still awaiting reimbursement of $45 from TPG as they continued charging for OLD SIM as well as NEW!
This is despite me discovering this & advising them at the (?) end of 2024! I feel this is deliberate dishonesty aimed at maximising their greedy profits.
I finally changed from TPG, I have been with them for over 4 years and their service became very problematic, always dropping out. I rang them and spoke to service, they told me to do all the basic stuff and wouldn't provide a new modem and didn't try to upgrade my service. Once you are a customer they don't care, when you try to leave they hound you repeatedly on the call to keep you. Too little too late, I will never go back to TPG.
TPG is a reliable service if it’s working. If you need anything done. Nightmare to work with. I lost a credit card advised them prior to billing cycle dates. Spend 1 hour on the phone and multiple logins with systems. They promised to move billing date but instead phone cut off. Had to buy new sim and wait 45 minutes to talk to them. They promised to fixed again. It is now 3 days later. Phone still not working. Do not use this provider.
TPG is an absolute nightmare way too much drama. The problems are endless, and honestly, it’s beyond exhausting to even talk about. Definitely not recommended.
Easily the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. No one knows what they’re doing; they all lack emotional intelligence, accountability, communication skills and problem-solving skills. You just get passed around from department to department having to constantly ID yourself and explain yourself all over again a million times only to discover that the next person is just as incompetent as the last. During my last phone call with them, I was frustrated because the problem wasn’t being solved so I gave up because no one was helping, and the customer service rep had the audacity to tell me to have an amazing day ahead after seeing how frustrated I was that no solution was reached. Absolute joke of a business. Do not sign up with this company.
I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF TPG FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS.THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHEN I HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE. BUT OVERALL IT HAS BEEN 10 STARSTHE MANILA AND THE INDIAN CALL CENTRES ARE VERY GOOD. YES, THEY DO HAVE ACCENTS , BUT THEY ARE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL.
