I ordered a book with Tower and after a week they emailed me that my product was unlocated and gave me a full refund. I will never shop online with them again and I heartily advise anybody else to do so

Surprised by the negative reviews Tower Records Dublin is getting. I’ve ordered several times online and have received my records in west cork within 48 hrs every single time.

Very trustworthy.

4 CDs ordered at the beginning of February, then 2 others in mid-February supposedly available on their international catalog. 0 of 6 received !! It was the 1st and last time I used Tower records. Item not delivered DHL provided delivery proof without my signature, Tower records said for me to chase DHL up about it , I paid a lot to get this CD and they were about as helpful as a chocolate fireplace, if I had seen the reviews beforehand I wouldn’t have purchased off them

Would not recommend, rather buy from amazon.

My wife bought me a gift that turned out to be the wrong thing. She asked before buying if she coudl return the item if i didnt like it and rhey said yes, but refrained from explaining that items can only be exchanged for instore credit. NO REFUNDS! . So we went back she felt like an absolute idiot. She wishes she bought on amazon rather as she wouldve been able to return the unopened item that was quite pricey. Last time we will be going there.

This company are trying to rip people off
Today I bought online for collection in the store , a copy of Steely Dan , Katie Lied remastered vinyl album, release date of this album 27/09/2024. On line they have this album as immediate Dispatch meaning they had to sell as from today. Cost 29 euro. Bought on line but when I went to collect after getting my code was told they did not have in stock and would not have until 31/12/2024. It’s time this company was closed permanently

Everything perfect. I ordered from their site and I got my order delivered in the expected time. I wanted to track the order so I sent them a mail; they immediately replied giving me a proper tracking code. My order was also packed great. Overall a more than positive experience.

I ordered from them a vinyl i could't find anywhere else at an honest price. I ordered on a friday morning and they shipped it the same day, the customer service was quick to answer when I asked them for the tracking number and the vinyl came perfectly packaged.
The only downside was the time it took to arrive, 8 working days, 3 days more than what was told after the order, and the tracking stopped working at one point, but that's the shipping companies fault not theirs, that's why i still gave them 5 stars.

Store in Dublin is just awesome. The vinyl selection they have is second to none. Great band t shirts and cool stocking filler items as well.

Attempted to purchase vouchers via web for delivery to their address. For some reason, internet decided that my English card wasn't acceptable.
Quick call to their department dealing with websales allowed me to purchase vouchers over the phone, also giving me the chance to send a personal message to the recipient. Also allowed me to pay in Sterling, so no worries about exchange rate changing.
Thoroughly recommend.

Bought most of my vinyl here over the last few years and always enjoyed the Dawson st store. Very disappointed when buying vinyl and gifts at Christmas to be told they were not stamping loyalty cards for December. Very short sighted and penny pinching, especially as the cash spend is quite substantial compared with the discount earned. Will be shopping in Golden Discs in future.

I ordered a vinyl record which was about to sell out - they delivered a CD. I returned immediately sealed CD through the Postal Service .
Update : Finally received refund .

Ordered a dvd Tuesday afternoon and it was delivered Thursday morning, great service!

i ordered a vinyl last week the shipping was fine the only problem i had was the vinyl on one of the sides the songs are dragging lagging and sound weird that wasn’t really a problem with tower records because i have a record from another store and it does the exact same thing so it’s not really a problem for me and my record player is bluetooth so the side that is dragging and lagging i can just play it on my phone no biggie.

I had a question about two versions of the same album Tower Records responded the next day. I Ordered five CD's. I had no issues and they arrived in a reasonable amount of time. They meet my expectations. I will deal with them in the future.

Terrible experience! Sent me the wrong album. They made me take a video showing them for proof. Once they did see I was telling the truth it took a month for me to get the replacement and guess what WRONG ALBUM AGAIN! I emailed them and was told to send other video to prove it. I just gave up since this was a birthday gift that was extremely late at this point. Poor service and I will never buy from them again.

Process of returning a WARPED record has been incredibly difficult. They make you prove the record is warped by taking a video and sending it, which is difficult in email because the video has to be a certain size. Why not just send back the record, see that it is warped or damaged, then send a new one or give a full refund? How did a warped record end up in the package to begin with? Careless and not a great customer service rep. They offer 0 options in the ways of help and returns.

I ordered 2 LPs from Tower Records on a Thursday evening and one arrived on Saturday. I was delighted with the fast delivery service. I realised then that the second LP would not be available until May, I had not read the information properly on the website. I called them asking if I could change my order as I didn’t want to wait until May. Somebody sent me an email telling me they had done the exchange and refunded the price difference. I received the second album in 2 working days, there was no charge for the extra delivery and the refund is in my account. So thank you Tower records for excellent customer service.

The experience of order fulfillment from Tower Records is AWFUL!!!! In an age where a company is trying to gain customers and make the user experience good, Tower Records fails miserably.
On 11/29 I orders James Taylors greatest hits. On 12/2 I received a confirmation that the album shipped. I thought I would have it in time for Christmas. Not receiving any other updates, on afternoon of 12/23 I placed a second order since I thought the record was lost. On the 12/24, 7:30 am EST, I tried to cancelled the order (placed on the 23rd) as I learned my original order was on the way. I received the original order on 12/27. Over a month late and too late for the holiday.
I was told on 12/29 to ship the second order back when I receive it for a full refund. I was also told that it was too late to cancel the order and I would have to send it back for a full refund. On 2/3, I received the second record, only to learn that Tower Records would not take any responsibility for the very long shipping times and I would be responsible for shipping charges.
I dont understand Tower Records lack of concern with such poor customer service. Maybe they need to hire some people from Amazon who appreciate customer service.
