Really great people running the business!

We had just a 2 day break in Shamawi booked through Tourismthatcares. We had a great 2 nights with 4 safari drives. For a 2 day trip Shamawi was perfect. We saw the interesting game that Shamawi had to show us, and our guide knew where it was. Eagles Crag was very comfortable with good food and friendly staff. Tourismthatcares were very efficient to deal with and got us a price 5,000 rand cheaper than another website. Aidan

We worked with Nicole for many weeks to develop an itinerary that met our desires and needs. She heard and understood us and organized a perfect trip for our family of 13. She also was able to pivot when our circumstances changed and accommodate all of our many needs - Thanks you!

After landing in Johannesburg, we spent the first night at the beautiful Budmarsh Country Lodge before travelling on to Madikwe Game Reserve the next day. Mosetlha Bush Camp is unique and you always see lots of animals in Madikwe. After three nights, we travelled on to Welgevonden Game Reserve (Attention, you need more time than Google Maps indicates, as the roads over 100km are very bad). Compared to our first visit in 2016, the number of lions in particular had increased significantly. We then travelled on to AfriCamps Magoebaskloof. The Blyderiver Canyon with its sights is not far away and is a scenic highlight. From there we travelled to Punda Maria in the Kruger Park. There were lots of animals to see, especially here in the north. On the second day, we took a day trip to Olifants in the Kruger. It's always worth making a stop here because of the fantastic viewing terrace. Our last game reserve was Umlani Bushcamp in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. A very nice camp with a family atmosphere. From the viewing terrace we were able to watch more than 100 elephants walking to the waterhole, simply brilliant. The last few days before heading back to Johannesburg, we indulged ourselves at the Ndhula Luxury Tented Lode in Lowveld. Here we went on a nice excursion to the Canyon Rope Park near Hazyview and to Chimp Eden near Nelspruit. Then, unfortunately, our three weeks were already over - but we'll be back! What an incredible company to work with. We took a weeklong trip to South Africa with 4 kids and every detail was ironed out down to breakfast to go, picnic lunches, drivers everywhere and amazing lodgings. Would definitely use this company if planning another trip.

Working with Tourism that Cares was something otherworldly. From the day we started the process until we arrived back home, Nicole and the entire team ensured our service was five stars. From the flights, accommodations, specialty meals, unique requests, they were a high above anything we ever experienced in our travels and can't wait to travel Africa with them again.

Our African safari trip last August was a complete pleasure thanks to Adrian and Xenny at Tourism That Cares. The logistics for a kosher safari can be complicated and expensive, but they made it all so easy and reasonable. We hope to work with them again in the near future.

Spent a little over two weeks touring different African countries. TTC arranged everything from transport to meals and no detail was left unchecked. Dietary restrictions were taken care of perfectly, and everyone was even nicer than I possibly could've imagined. I can't imagine how I would have been able to accomplish a fraction of what TTC did for me without them, and I'm already in the process of planning another trip with them.

The experience from finding Tourismthatcares , to receiving an incredibly detailed itinery, booking, and travelling was truly amazing.
The services provided, quality of accommodation, helpful kind agents and guides were incredible.

The whole organisation was perfect. We were met and greeted all the time on time, no wait!
Everybody enjoyed the trip - no doubt.

Kids mostly liked riding on the dunes in Sandwich harbour - felt like roller coaster! And walking barefoot there: very cold and windy but hot to walk on the sand.

We loved climbing the Big Daddy in Sossusflei and going down to Deadvlei.
Twyfelfontein - was great too and excursion to Damara people.

Our lodges/hotels rate: Omaanda was pure love! We wished we went there on our way back too;)) it felt like best place (most luxury and comfortable of all). But Desert lodge had its charm as well! I loved it to be more basic - otherwise how would you feel that you were in the desert where almost nothing exists…

And the people there were the nicest people ever! Our guide knew everything about everything - we were fascinated by his stories about animals, insects, land, geology etc.

The people who met us every time from trips to the desert would always bring warm wet towels and drinks for us and kids - very thoughtful!

And they all had a great sense of humor - joking and being funny with kids too! Amazing team!
