Torga Optical Westwood Mall: I had an exceptional experience! The service was amazing, with an extremely in depth eye test and the staff were very patient and friendly at all times, nothing felt rushed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. The product itself exceeded all expectations—high-quality and exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!

Nice people that stay friently but exstremly bad quility lenses focal points wrong after 3 tries, I demand my money y back, 6 weeks off in and out every time 300 km! There must be a tecnical miscomunication between their Iab and their shop in Somerset West I dont recommend them if your prescription is in any way a technical challenge!

I bought the new glasses a year agao and tooday a have a useless glasses, ful of sraches even I bougt a scrach ressistent. I had to go back on my old 12 years glasses wich are mach beter then this "new" one.

Always excellent service. A good couple of years ago I was treated for pink eyes, went back to the GP who prescribed another set of meds as the condition didn't improve. After 20 days of treatment I went to Torga Opt, Greenacres, on a Saturday morning - (I was in agonising pain, couldn't see through my left eye at all). The Optometrist examined my eyes and immediately contacted Dr Finestone at Eye and Laser Clinic. Due to his fast and efficient service, Dr Finestone immediately start treatment - 3 months treatment, injections into my eye, 4D scans etc. The sight in my left eye was at the end of the day completely restored. Dr Finestone told my husband that if the Optometrist did not act immediately, and I only saw him on the Monday, he would have had to remove my eye. I am forever grateful to Torga for their fine service.
I will, and always will recommend anyone to Torga Optical, Greenacres branch.

If I could score a minus I would. So I did do a review when I got my glass as they had three goes on two pair before I could see out of them at all, in the end they made me feel like I was being unseasonable. My sunglasses are wearable but my readers were unwearable and in the end I gave up. A year later I went back to just by a frame as their frames are nice. The girl asked why I wasn't getting the lens done there so I told her. She had a look and said " Oh yes I wouldn't have used that lens I'll do you a deal if you get these done here I'll only charge you $600 to fix the problem" To which I declined and didn't buy anything from them. I took my reading glasses to another optometrist with the script I had given them. On looking at it he said are you sure this is what you gave them as that's not even remotely the script. I have paid that optometrist over $600 to replace a lens in glasses I have never worn as I trusted his professionalism. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY The date of experience bellows when I was told it wasn't my script

Hi, I went for an eye test in December 2023 and was assisted by Noluthando at Torga Optical Westwood Mall. She is an excellent optometrist. She was extremely patient with me as I do not like anything being done to my eyes as I tear alot. She advised that I see an ophthalmologist. After my appointment with the ophthalmologist, she contacted me to explain my condition and she put me at ease. The receptionist Lynn was very helpful as well as she helped to choose my frame as i have a very small face and it is difficult to choose frames for me. 7 months later I am still getting excellent service from Noluthando and Adelle as Lynn is no longer at the Westwood branch. Whenever I am at Westwood Adelle calls me over to have my glasses cleaned and ensures that they are not loose. I will highly recommend Torga Westwood to anyone in the Durban area as they take pride in their work and take a personal interest in their patients.

Their receptionist helped me very well and she was friendly. And their service was fast. I loved it thank you Torga optical Greenacres mall.

I purchased a new frame from the Somerset Mall branch on Sunday. I would like to compliment both Anneke & Xhanti for their fantastic service, professional attitude and warmth. I will most certainly refer your branch to people and will be back :-).

Avoid it by all means people. Low quality lenses, frames are rubbish. Continuously needs repairs and after 3rd replacement, I was asked to pay for a new frame even though the error is with the product and they agree that there was no neglect or damage from my side. Should have gone to specsavers.

I have to compliment Torga Opti in The Glen. Staff very friendly and understand what is a meaning of customer service. I'm amazed by the professionalism and warm they made me feel. They Rock! Cridelda is my star.

I went to torga optical for an eye test that was advertised for R250 and when I got there for an eye test one of the staff member said I quote " R500 for the normal eye test, I then asked if it not R250 she said no that's for drivers license and she just asked if I'm paying via medical aid or not". I proceeded to look at Poster inside the store to make sure if I had seen something else and she just sat there and she didn't even care to explain.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Somerset mall branch. Would recommend

When I asked their Jabulani Mall branch in Soweto what their turnaround time was for spectacles, they said 7 to 10 working days. This was on the 6th of November. I needed the spectacles sooner so I asked if they could assist get them for me by the 13th, they said they would push. On the 10th, I received a call that I could come collect my spectacles.
