This company is a complete SCAM!

This company is a complete SCAM!! I was trying to book an airline fare for a Southwest Airline flight and, this comany showed the fare for this flight $80 below what was available on Southwest. When I did the booking, I immediately received an email from Topflightfares stating that an agent will contact me shortly to finalize the reservation. i was never contacted and, a short time later I received an email staing that I had beed booked on a United Airlines flight at completely different times and at a higher cost than I could have originally received directly through Southwest Airlines. I immediately tried to call this company and, after getting passed off a couple times to varius people, the lady who supposedly made the reservation stated that she could not make the reservation on Southwest because she could not confirm seats at the stated price. So, she just decided to book me on another airline and, the flight was non-refundable. She told me she needed to see what could be done and would call me back. I never heard from her again.

WARNING!! Its a scam!!!

WARNING!!! THEY ARE SCAMMING US!!! I purchased two airline tickets and instantly received a message indicating that my reservation was pending. It took close to 30 minutes to get through to an agent, and he actually called me back from a number that said it was from Bluesky Travel. The agent I spoke with told me that I had purchased "Standby" tickets. I told him to immediately cancel the tickets and he said they cant be canceled. This company appears to be based out of Brewster, New York , so I am going to file a complaint with the states Attorney Generals office. I was also able to cancel my CC before it got charged. DO NOT USE TopFlightFares or Bluesky Travel!!!

Be careful where you buy from

This business really put a bad experience in my books and I won’t buy from again. Very disappointed in customer service from them. From Hawaii to Chicago for two adults and six children came out to $1,800.00. My tickets were not confirmed so I called in. The first agent had insinuated that I was a liar when I was reading to him what my email had said about my booking upon going down all the information. Then Terrance came along and helped to explain that the reason why my tickets were so cheap is because they were “STANDBY” tickets which is why it was prompted to call customer service and the tickets weren’t confirmed. He helped me adjust my tickets and confirm it, but then that price went up to $3,200. Being the cheapest tickets, I am allowed to carry on bag and no free check in bag so I will have to pay additional for that since the seats were all basic economy. Later, I realized Terrance had almost missed the seating for one of my connecting flights (ARRIVAL: LA to Chicago). Upon trying to contact them it took two days to finally get ahold of Terrance and I had to email him. His colleague didn’t tell Terrance to give me a call. Instead of Terrance calling me to verify seating he went ahead and booked it on his own and just emailed me that the seats were reserved. I also asked him about the seating arrangements if they could be modified because I put the ticket confirmations into United and Alaskan Airlines and i was able to see the visual layout of where we were sitting. We got into an argument because I explained to him that my interpretation of together was in the back/front of each other. Not going across the whole plane. I wanted to adjust all our seating to seats that were in the same cabin and would cost the same, but he said that to change seats I would have to pay extra because the rates of the seats are different than from when they were first purchased. It did not make any sense to me and I kept trying to ask to see if there were anything he could do, and instead of trying to see he just said there isn’t. It got heated and I disconnected the line. He kept trying to call me back multiple times, but I went to email instead to not make matters worse. Through email he got frustrated and proceeded to tell me that he will cancel my whole trip. I told him you can’t just cancel my flights without my permission because it goes against the rules and regulations of DOT. He then tried to say “he was offering that” and I told him unless you’re going to give me a 100% refund then I’m not agreeing to canceling. Terrance did not respond after that. He was patient and helpful in the beginning and once I told him he messed up, instead of apologizing he kept saying that he didn’t mess up. If you decide to book with them please be mindful of the customer service you will receive, YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A CANCELLATION FEE even if it’s months ahead of time, and you will be receiving emails from this company, phone calls from Blue Sky Travel (if the agent calls you), and from what Terrance stated, “they are a third party from Priceline.” I’m very sketched out and hope that on the day of my flight my tickets go through. Will be updating in May.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam! Misrepresentation & fraudulent practices. Very shady. DO NOT use their services. The price I booked online was not what was charged. Received a call immediately after booked and told initial tickets were only for standby. Customer service is horrible. Hung up after being on hold numerous times. They don't even honor their refund policy on their website. Can't even deal with airlines directly because the confirmation email doesn't match the passenger name. Horrible experience.

Scam

Scam, All of this listed below
Common complaints include:
Bait-and-Switch Pricing: Customers report finding a low fare online, only to be told after booking that the price is no longer available and they must pay significantly more for a "guaranteed" seat.
"Pending" or Standby Tickets: The initial charge often results in a "pending" or standby ticket, which is not clearly disclosed on the website. Agents then pressure customers to pay an additional fee for a confirmed seat.
Refusal to Cancel/Refund: Despite the website's policy stating a 24-hour cancellation window, customers who attempt to cancel are often told no refund is possible. Agents have also been reported to hang up on customers requesting cancellations.
Rude and Unhelpful Staff: Multiple reviews mention agents being rude, aggressive, and unhelpful, sometimes even insulting or threatening customers who complain.
Unauthorized Charges/Credit Card Fraud: Some users who provided their credit card information reported subsequent unauthorized charges or had to cancel their cards immediately to prevent potential fraud.

Unacceptable unacceptable unacceptable

I have tried using this company several times and every single time they jump the price 3 to 4 times. It’s absolutely ridiculous and they should be shut down immediately. Taking advantage of people is totally unacceptable.
