Awful
Awful! Took my $300. Didn’t ship item. Rudest worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Horrible shop. Flee.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Tried to send a chat for a gift I was buying. I received no response and decided to go elsewhere. I’ve never had a chat and been entirely ignored before. Also, before starting the chat it required me to give my name and email, so I expect a large amount of spam from them in the future.
I bought the Doc Holliday 10 Year Bourbon _ Revolver Collector’s Set for a Christmas gift and received the package with the protection plan. I set it aside to ship later for Christmas and didn't open it.
I sent to my friends and when they opened it the display box was in terrible shape, paper peeling off and the was no liquor in the bottle.
I call Top Bourbon and told them about it. I told them I had pictures I could send them, but they were not interested. They basically told me that there was nothing they could do as far as compensation. They said I would have to file a claim with my bank. I will never use them again.
With so many reputable bourbon shippers, there is no reason to buy from topbourbon. They ruined what was supposed to be a gift by engraving the wrong name on the bottles and then wanted me to take the gifts back from my business partners after they were already open. They admitted they messed up but were arrogant and divisive when it came time to do the right thing.
They did offer to waive the shipping and engraving cost though, which is laughable.
I’m now left wondering what they planned on doing with the bourbon that was already opened? Did my business partners actually receive Pappy or was it sent back bourbon put into Pappy bottles or did they want it for themselves to drink? I can’t be sure at this point.
The whole process was a $2,000 disaster.
BTW, this is the first bad review I’ve ever given to a company but I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did.
