Like most people I saw the ad on instagram and had a look at their tools.
I thought “Awesome some cheap tools, always need more”.
I put my order in on the 27th of FEBRUARY…
To only email asking for a refund today on the 15th of APRIL… after sending that email magically I get my order packed and it now on its way.
Would have been better off ordering from eBay or but off marketplace 🤣

SCAM!!! Didn't let me purchase abetting due to 'payment method issue', then a couple hours later, £600 spent on my card. Phishing company, avoid at all costs

Waiting over 3 weeks, still hasn’t left the depot.. don’t reply to emails. Useless joke of a company

Was waiting for over 3 weeks for delivery, they said my order is in a queue, 3 email later saying the same thing order in a queue
So I did a charge back on my visa card.
The bank investigation the situation
And refund me the money.
Keep away !

I ordered a tool just over two weeks ago. It got delivered this morning after the job was already finished. Two weeks really? How the heck do you’s stay in business is beyond me. Never shopping here again

Hi all, don't buy from here. I'm at week number 22 still dealing with a return of a Milwaukee battery, complete incompetence.

Scam Scam Scam.
Do not be fooled by their competitive discounts.
After being constantly fobbed off over 10 weeks, they finally blamed the supplier, Makita.
BTW The item is readily available from any reputable tool supplier. They still have the item listed in stock on their own website.
I was offered a store credit and 10% off the next item.
Eventually I was provided with a refund, which took weeks.
No stock, no receipt of purchase, no follow up information, no tracking information. No phone contact.
Just a headache to deal with.
Do not purchase from this retailer.
Do not give up if you have already purchased an item from them.
I wish that I had of read the reviews first.

Truly disappointed with the lack of communication from tools warehouse and a shocking experience. Firstly it took them approx 2 weeks to send the order, that to they only sent half of the items I ordered, in which the items they said was shipped was not the items delivered. I tried contacting them many times even before this as they never advised when the order will be shipped, so I was chasing them up with no response. I contacting the again through email to ask them when will the remainder of the items be shipped, again no response came. I had to launch a compliant through PayPal, once the complaint went to them they responded back to me. I placed the order on the 29th of December 2024 and I only just received the reminder of items today being 30th of January. Very disappointed.

I ordered a power tool from toolswarehouse.com on 26 Dec 2024. 33 days later, the tool still had not been shipped and no communication on the status of my order was received, despite two phone calls (left voice messages) and two e-mails, with no response.

I raised a refund request on PayPal on 28 Jan 2025.

Finally, I received shipping information from Australia Post on 30 Jan 2025 and the items was finally delivered at my local post office on that day.

Now I wonder if I would have received the order at all if I had not requested the PayPal refund?

I will not buy again from that seller.

Ordered from them December 2nd, confirmation stated 1-2 for order to be allocated to warehouse and 3-5 days to be despatched. On 21st December I contacted them for an update, confirmation of request received “we will get back to you in 1-3 business days. It is now 9th of January and have not received the item I ordered OR a response explaining why my order still hasn’t been despatched 5 weeks after they were happy to take my money. Their contact phone number goes direct to hold music and then voicemail. At this point I’m fairly certain that it’s not even a real business and I have been scammed.

It feels like they are drop shipping. Takes months to get your item, they don't even tell you it's going to be delayed, you'll have to chase them continuously. I don't know why they even have an online store.

Worst retail experience ever. After months of waiting for an order, and multiple attempts to get an update, with them being non-responsive, I bought the item from another business and asked TW for a refund. I called the Liverpool store and was promised a refund right away. Then after continuously following up for weeks and them not responding, then trying to give me store credit, which I declined, then not responding again, they sent the order. Absolutely unbelievable. I have never experienced such bad customer service. Now I'm having the nightmare of trying to return the item for a refund. And, as always they are non-responsive.

I don't normally write reviews, but this has gone beyond appalling and verges on heinous. I made the mistake of buying some equipment online from their website early last year. I experienced the same problem described by countless other reviews: first the weeks of delay without any communication. It took multiple emails chasing them up to be told it was "on backorder (sic) from a supplier" with an ETA of "4-6 weeks." NB these were listed as "available" when I purchased them. A month later, they only sent half the order (for items that could only be used as a full set) leaving me waiting for months with no sign of the other half. When I chased them up again, I had to invoke the threaten legal action to get the cut-and-paste "you items are on backorder (sic) from a supplier." In the meantime, they spammed my mobile with advertising without my consent. These same items I was chasing them up over 4 months later were still being listed as "available" on their website. Eventually I cancelled the order and sent the useless half of the equipment back for a full refund. It should have ended there. Scandalously has not. Since late last year (2023) they have been constantly flooding my inbox with spam, despite me already telling them not to months earlier. Each time I have made them take me off their list, they have put me back on it. The one time they responded directly to my complaints (after I quoted the Spam Act and advised them I'd reported them) they claimed they had addressed the issue and removed me from the list - only to resume spamming me a month later. Currently I'm being spammed by them every day of the week. My subsequent complaints have not only been ignored, but immediately followed by increases in the frequency of spam, which suggests to me that it is deliberate and malicious. This has now been going on for more than 12 months. I am toning it down to an understatement when I say they have totally pissed me off. That is why I am making it a personal project to bring them to account.
To all others in a similar boat regarding spam: report it to ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority) - you can find the complaint form by searching "acma spam complaint" (Trustpilot doesn't allow links in the review). The more complaints they receive about Tools Warehouse, the more likely they will take it seriously and prosecute. You can find information about your rights under the anti-spam law on ACMA's website. Penalties for breaching the Spam Act include fines up to $220,00. Repeat offenders face up to $1.1 million per day. Tools Warehouse needs to face the consequences of its illegal activity.

Worst online shopping experience ever. Worst communication ever. Waited months to get a tool they kept saying '2 weeks', '2 weeks, 2 weeks, 2 weeks..'.

I decided to get a refund and getting it was also a nightmare.

Oh how I wish I had read these reviews. I should have just gone to Total Tools or another physical shop. There's not even a number you can call to cancel the order.

I placed an order 27 June 2024 and as of 1 August, despite multiple unanswered requests for information or refund, still has not been dispatched. Checking their website, they are heavily promoting sales and the item I ordered is listed as available.

I purchased a Milwaukee set online, which was supposed to be dispatched in 3-7 business days. It's now been two weeks, and I still haven't received it. I've spoken to multiple branches, but no one has been able to resolve the issue. They asked me to drop an email.
I need the tools for my job and I cannot delay the job.

24 days since placing my order, still no closer to getting my goods, phoning gets me nowhere apart from getting some false promises. I've been told the items would be dispatched last week, they weren't, got promised an update by E-mail yesterday, never received it, call back again today, no answers.

Have ordered more than 7 weeks ago. No order has been dispatched not have I been given an update.
Trying to contact the company is impossible. No-one picks up the phone, no call back as requested, no answer to any email I have send and worst of all..... no refund either as requested. Just no reaction at all.

Stay clear of this seller and pay 2 AUD more elsewhere and actually get what you ordered.

The original customer service was welcoming and helpful. I was glad to make the team happy with my email address, but it could be a double sword....
8/9 I ordered a Makita power saw and was told it was in stock and I would have it in the next few days. Mind you, there was a public holiday on Monday. Few days turned into a week, when I was told, it had to be ordered in and is now available, which was the 15/6. I needed it and wanted to pick it up, but was told it would come within a couple of days, it was a 2 hour turnaround trip ..., so I relented.
Today, 17/6, I still do not have the saw.
I ordered a robotic vacuum from the US and had it within 3 working days.
OZ, I am sure you can do better,
I am so disappointed, would I buy again from Tools warehouse? Really?
