Great service from a gentleman behind the counter. He went the extra mile to help. I ordered a wrong part. Part required was no longer available. He came up with a suggestion which worked and I left a happy man. The sale was only a tenner. Look after him, they are rare
TOOLS AND PARTS LOAD OF RUBBISH
Looking at these reviews, I wish I’d read them before hand. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. A useless company. I ordered what I believed to be a grass box for my lawn mower - they sent only the lid. When my order went through, there was no order confirmation or acknowledgment of the order but the money was immediately collected. Had to chase them down to enquire what was going on. Only for them to respond that the item wasn’t in stock so they had to order it.(the website clearly stated that it was) That pushed delivery time back. Upon arrival, I saw it was only the lid. Told them I was sending it back. Had to pay £6:00 for that. Asked about return postage. - they said since I ordered the wrong thing, they wouldn’t refund on that. AGAIN, had to get in touch with them to find out if the item had been received; was told ‘oh yes’ we’ve got it. The refund would take about 1-5 days. Bearing in mind I had to do all the chasing up. The refund was received- the base price of £16.99 only was what was refunded, even though I had to pay for postage and VAT, which came to £23:00. All told, I lost about £15 on an item that wasn’t what I wanted. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INCREDIBLY USELESS COMPANY.

Terrible service, waiting two months for parts and still no sign of them. What I ordered was in apparently in stock. I keep getting told " due in Tommorow", and we will ship straight away. It's a bloody scam. 2 months and still nothing. I could have got a container from China quicker than this service. They don't even deserve 1 star.

After reading these reviews I won't hold my breath as I think they use two company names to confuse the issue and then just ignore their customers. We shall see

Faulty parts
Hi, we have purchased a new lance for our Stanley power washer four months ago, it is now pouring water from the handle, so is faulty, when contacting Power tool centre, we were told that it needed to be returned within 30 days, I’m sure that it should be lasting longer than that, very poor service, will not be purchasing anything else from this company for my garage business

It’s been over 3 months ( waiting for my spare from 25th Apr24 - today is 15th August 24 ) and I am yet to receive my spares for a black and decker food processor.
The staff is still not sure when this order will get processed. Thus I have requested for a refund, in the hope that it gets processed.
Just think before you order from this website cause my experience has been a very bad one.

Over 2 weeks and the parts still have not arrived…
Evenually arrived almost 3 weeks after placing an order for Festool parts. Beware if you need an urgent part for a Festool fix.
Their phone is not always answered during office hours which is annoying.
Useless Serviceless Centre
Rang up to speak to someone for advice on how to adjust chop saw, Operator asked what was the specific problem. I explained that the saw was hitting the kerf plate on a 90 degree cut not even a bevel. She then said “Hold on, I’ll just ask someone”.
She returned and said we can’t do that over the phone and suggested I look on Google or YouTube, I said “I have but couldn’t find a solution”. She said, “That’s all we can do”. Surprised, I asked “What is that it?” “Yes, sorry bye”, she replied.
Is that “Excellent Customer Service” as stated on their website? It’s supposed to be a SERVICE CENTRE, I thought they would have at least suggested I bring it in for them to have a look.

Ordered two things of this company and still not arrived they are the worse company I have delt with in years all you get off then is sorry your pay Pal address is wrong sorry but your the only company that carnt deliver my parcels from pay Pal Anthony is a waste of breath really disappointed and really bad company not be using these again and I'd ask anyone to stay away and spend somewhere else .

I purchased a Tool Inlay Holder for a Dewalt TStak IV carry case. The part was very hard to find elsewhere but Power Tool Centre were able to supply it. Unfortunately, when it arrived it wouldn't fit inside the Dewalt carry case as expected. But Anthony at PTC was very helpful and, between us, we were able to discover the cause of the fault, which was that Dewalt supplied various (very similar but not exactly the same) shaped tool boxes marked with the same product code. PTC agreed to sell me boxes that were tried and tested and that fitted perfectly, and they were delivered quickly and at a good price. I'm grateful and a very happy customer.

I bought a Black and Decker thermal leak detector on-line, which was showing 1 - 3 day delivery. When it didn't arrive within 3 days I rang and spoke to James, one of the customer service advisers, who told me that the item was out of stock. He then spoke to Black and Decker and advised me that the delivery would be at least another 3 weeks so I asked for a refund, which he organised straight away. Very good and efficient customer service from James, thank you.
