I use this with my Neewer XLR mic. Using an articulating arm versus the original stand is like night and day. Build quality seems solid.

It is a very good sounding microphone with excellent quality of voice and tuning. You can hear recording directly from the radio.
The channel switching feature is very simple to use and you can literally work with it in no time.

I'm using it to hold my Blue Yeti, which is a heavy mic. It works great, holding the mic and its shockproof mount adapter. Very very little sound is translated from the table into the mic. When I don't need to have it down at my level, it easily lifts up our of the way.

The clamp is really firm, and it was easy to install.

The one improvement I'd like to see if bigger knobs for some of the tightness adjustments. Other than that, though, it's pretty much perfect!
