Introducing parking restrictions shows just how few shoppers you really have - great move.
Sadly can't give the Original Factory shop nil points. Seems they have just sneaked in parking restrictions to their car parks, maybe in an effort to delude people that their car parks are ever full. Just been hit by a £60 fine for parking in a part of a car park I have parked in for years and never considered was a part of their car park, given the pitiful few cars I ever saw there. Great move on their part during a cost of living crisis, but given the pitiful sales they must make in their useless shops, perhaps a last ditch attempt to make a bit of money before it's all over. Suffice to say, I will never go near any of their shops ever again.
Someone better contact me 😡
Cheaper and faster
I found this retailer online looking for a specific duvet set that was cheaper, with more reasonable delivery charges. Was impressed to find this company and they delivered within 24 hours-would recommend!
Poor quality products and terrible customer service
I ordered some stacking storage boxes from their online store. The boxes took a really long time to arrive and when they finally did arrive, six of the 10 boxes that I bought were badly damaged.
I contacted the customer care email about it and sent pictures but still haven’t had any reply.
When I contacted them on Facebook to chase it up, I got a response a day later but they told me it can take customer services 7-10 working days to reply to a complaint which is just shocking really.
Really poor quality products and even worse customer service, both of which totally overshadow any discount that you might be getting.
Not worth the time or the money.
Waste of money
A few weeks ago, I bought a bra of my usual size at The Factory Shop, but as there was no changing room, had to take it home to try on, as they vary so much in shape and size. It was far too small, but when I took it back with labels on, as good as when it left the shop, I was told that I was unable to exchange it. They claimed they had told me there was no exchange or return allowed, but my friend and I certainly did not hear this or I wouldn’t have risked buying it. I have always been able to try a bra on before in any other shop to see if it fitted before buying it, and been able to return it, if necessary, so cannot understand why I am now left with a brand new completely useless bra, not the size it was claimed to be. I have written to the company twice over the last few weeks with absolutely no response. Although I have usually been pleased with my purchases from there, I am disappointed with the total lack of response and waste of my money and would advise any potential customers not to buy bras from there. I certainly won’t in the future.
A disappointed customer
Confusing offers and bad customer service
We’ve just been into the Ilkley store looking at coats and jeans for our son. Offer looked like 2 pairs of jeans for £25. I am a tofs member but apparently you now have to have a stupid app on your phone to get the price advertised. The manager was quite off hand with us so walked out and won’t shop there again.

Went to the shop in Kirkham this morning, told them the app was crap and not working, it wouldn't accept my postcode or email.
They wouldn't give me the £5 discount that I should have had if the app had worked.
So I left the goods in the basket at the till.
Primark here I come.
Overcharged for every item…
Was in the monifieth store at lunch time today, bought trainers that were on sale and 4 perfumes that were on sale, noticed when I got home and took receipt out the bag I was charged full price not the sale price for every item, will cost me more in petrol to go back, total robbery the trainers had the sale price on front of box,you would think the staff that scanned them would’ve noticed
I went to the Original factory Shop to drop off some Evri parcels, …
I went to the Original factory Shop in Diss Norfolk today To drop off Evri Parcels and was told that 7 parcels was too many parcels to drop off as it was a health and safety issue as the Area behind the counter was too small for parcels to be stored, She did take the parcels after some discussion, I have been using this shop for over 2 months and only this week have I had this issue, I checked 2 months ago and spoke to two members of staff and explained that I wanted to drop parcels off and some days there may be up to 15 parcels ( 5 Days a week not weekends ) and was told that was fine, NB I Print my own labels and they are prepaid, Now this, I was told that they would turn parcels away if they decided that there was no room behind the counter, When I suggested that perhaps another area might be used to store parcels until they are collected I was told they had to be kept behind the till, Seems strange as other parcel drop offs do not do that, I was also questioned a couple of days ago by a member of staff and told if I was a business I should get a business account and I would get free collection, This is only possible if you send in Excess of 150 parcels a week ( I don't send anywhere near this number ) and if I pay for collection it is too expensive. I also feel how I run my business is nothing to do with the staff of this store and also should not be discussed in public, I Feel that the staff member is just deciding on a very arbitrary viewpoint about what she will accept or not,
If there is a health and safety issue for the staff why did this store offer this service, Very Poor indeed , I will be writing to your head office and have contacted Evri re this situation.
Will not name the branch but.......
25° outside and sales assistant is whinging that she is cold, kept whinging to manager she wanted the heating on!!, instead of acknowledging customers at till.
Attitude was stroppy and very poor like a spoilt child!!
Both employees in the wrong cashier for being stroppy and arguing in front of customers and manager for arguing and reprimanding cashier in front of customers!
Very uncomfortable and do not want to repeat experience. Will not be back.
Verbally assaulted by Manager! Used F word. Clothes snatched out of hand and shouted at: Get Out!

I'm in total shock of how I was treated at The Original Factory Shop in Stourport by the manager.
In the store on Tuesday 14th Sept I found some trousers. I wanted to try these on but the changing rooms closed.
There where no staff on the shop floor when I arrived and no customers. I thought it was safe to be discreet and try on the trousers.
They didn't fit, so I tried on another pair. All of a sudden the manager and two young girls burst out of a side door. I was unsure of what they had been up to as they had been gone for over 15 minutes.
The manager marched over shouting, "That's disgusting, how dare you try on some clothes". "Its covid, don't you know".
Well, I was in my mask but none of the staff were taking the same precautions by wearing masks themselves. I even had to say "stop!", as he was so close. "Please move away" I asked.
I then explained there was no staff or customers about and the changing rooms were closed. He then swore at me using the F word. I said, "did you just swear at me?" which he ignored and continued ranting at me. "Get in the changing rooms" he shouted, "and close the curtain".
I heard him say to the girls, "That was horrible to see".
One girl said, "We've had an increase in thefts recently". I replied, "I've got my purse here and I'm 63". I thought that no staff being on the shop floor for over 15 minutes might be a reason for thefts!
When I came out of the changing rooms the manager stormed over to me again with even more aggressive behaviour. He snatched the clothes out of my hand and shouted "Get out, get out, or I'm going to call the police". I replied "I feel like calling them" and he shouted "Go on then!"
I was in a bit of a state by this time after being spoken to and disrespected in such a way. I still replied, "I want to buy them". He said "No you cant, just get out!"
I was then marched out of the store by the manager.
I felt like bursting into tears outside. I was unsure of what had just happened and what to do.
I called my husband who advised me to go back in and ask to speak to the manager.
I did this and one of the girls said, "The person who shouted at you was the manager".
He saw me at the desk and came marching over to me a third time. "Get out, get out" he shouted.
I was deeply insulted, felt very threatened and the experience has made me so upset, that I will never visit this store again.

Staff brilliant
Staff brilliant, service in store brilliant....
Goods and service useless !
Brought a bathroom(yes) four shelf lined unit with baskets to put bathroom products in....FIRST TIME (same day) as soon as water landed on it, it either stained or paint comes off when you dry it. Contacted customer service s who basically said it was ok for paint to rub of as it was not sold as water proof ..I ask you why sell what is obviously designed for the bathroom and not at least give it a coat of varnish, Item cost £40.00 item is no in our garage waiting for me to repaint it and varnish it, so if your planning on buying anything from them ask where it is designed for...if they say bathroom forget it !
this is dum
the JD employees are very stupid because they wear glasses and they were mean to me for being a size 4 in year 10 so i hit the worker and ran off with the sandals.

I went to the middlewich branch to exchange a pair of faulty mens aviator wallking boots. Since I bought the boots the price had been increased and the store, just to exchange faulty goods, wanted me to pay the increase! We thought this was wrong and when we contacted customer service, they agreed with the store. Very poor customer service to allow a customer to leave the store unhappy. Faulty goods should just be exchanged no monetary value should come into the transaction. Ultimately I was lucky to get them at the sale price, but because they were faulty, I now have ended up paying the full price. Will not shop with this company again.
