NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. Rubbish customer service. No manners and getting feeling I got such bad service due to my skin colour.
Ordered plum porter. After multiple failed deliveries ( for which i wasted time waiting in ) over two weeks one case finally arriived. The other one i found had been delivered to a pub down the road. Rubbish service. I won't order from the brewery again and i can buy it much cheaper at Sainsburys!
I worked for Titanic Brewery for over a year as a member of their bar staff before COVID, and while their ales might be good, their staff and HR department are anything but.
When I started working here I was trained by a junior member of staff who trained me wrong, which led to me being constantly told off for pouring wrong, I later found out that it was supposed to be the assistant manager who was supposed to train me. I was told by another member of staff that she had been making comments about my autism, stating that "I don't want to train _ because they're slow because of their autism".
This toxic and unfriendly work environment and manager only continued to get worse. The assistant manager would make comments behind my back and act stupid when I asked her to repeat herself and then started threatening my job making up stories about how I'd "shouted at customers and thrown change at them" at times when I wasn't even working the bar.
After a while I complained to the management and HR was brought in, who later tried to suggest to me that I "might have misinterpreted these comments because of my autism" - if I was able enough to work in a pub on New Years Eve then I was damn sure able enough to understand basic human indecency like this. Other members of staff told me I was never being given day shifts because "I wasn't capable of handling the place on my own".
This company is awful at best and discriminatory and hateful the rest of the time. I wouldn't have left this review closer to the time because I was very much threatened by both the manager and assistant managers obvious contempt for me and then waited long enough to let me go so it wasn't obvious what they were letting me go for.
(trip advisors date form is broken so I cannot add the year this happened).
Bad company. Four days to answer an email and don't provide discount code their website advertises despite me wanting to place a £100 plus order. Why have a page that says 'discount codes' that takes you to the subscribe to mailing list page, if you don't offer discount codes when you subscribe? Nice bit of false advertising. Clearly they don't need the order, so I'll take my business elsewhere.
Really great beer and like the brand but don’t buy it either from the Brewery shop or have it delivered. Sainsbury price 4x plum porter = £7 or brewery delivered price £9.96. Or a case delivered is £19.95 or Sainsbury is £14. If you collect and you have managed to register for their loyalty scheme you get some benefit but it’s much cheaper to buy from the supermarket which is a real shame.
Even though I live 150 miles from Stoke on Trent I've been a fan of this brewery since it started in the 1980s. Beers are great, especially the Plum Porter, and I always visit one of their pubs on visits to SoT. During lockdown I had many deliveries and today I received my latest (Order #56450) which arrived 26 hours after ordering. Good work.
Pub in a box superb idea. Pitty mine didn't live upto there usual standards. Big lover of the plum porter and the gran reserve. A can of plum porter which I opened should have a been dark Ruby. Infact was a blond with a slight smell of plum. Contacted titanic who advised that they would investigate. They advised that this was an isolated incident and have had no other complaints. Fair enough. But no offer of a refund or replacement 🤔 Thankyou for your reply I have been in contact with one of your colleagues via messenger and was very disappointed with there assistance. I the end I requested that instead of refund or replacement. I became your customer service agent. And asked that you donate anything to your local affiliated charity. Actually still waiting for a response in this regard. I still have the can and contents. Still sinking. Please my local the Petersgste tap have got the grand reserve back in. Last time I purchased 12 bottles doubt I will buy any more. Look forward to your reply. My last contact with your correspondence was the 21st of October. As I have given enough time for reply. I doubt I will get one anyway. I hope your better at replying
