Purchased a new Solis model

Purchased a new Solis model. The chair malfunctioned multiple times and did not work properly. After many repair attempts, they agreed to replace the chair with a new one. The new chair stated the same issues within a couple months and repair claim was filed. The chair then quit working on every program. The sent tech multiple times and chair is unusable and smells like something burning if turned on. I found out replacement chair was not new and refurbished. Now they want to replace it with same model that was used and returned to company. I stated I did not want the same model so they offered a lower level used chair to replace. Do not do business with Osaki. Waiting for Sleep City to return call about the 5 year extended warranty to see what they offered a lower.

Osaki Massage Chairs: What They Don’t Tell You About Warranty SupportOsaki Massage Chairs: What They Don’t Tell You About Warranty Support

I purchased the Osaki JP650 during a Black Friday promotion, expecting a premium massage chair backed by a strong warranty. Unfortunately, the chair began breaking down within weeks — including multiple remote malfunctions, PCB failures, and a motor issue that never resolved. Despite repeated technician visits and months of back-and-forth, the chair was never fully operational.

Instead of honoring the warranty with a true replacement, Osaki offered lower-tier or open-box models that were clearly not comparable in value or quality — even acknowledging that my original chair was superior. After more than six months of delays, I was forced to escalate the issue to Affirm, where I ultimately won a full refund due to the overwhelming documentation of failed repairs and inadequate support.

Buyers beware: If your chair fails, expect a long, frustrating experience and little accountability from the company. Keep every receipt, document every email, and be prepared to dispute your transaction.

The JP650 looked great on paper — but Osaki’s support system was completely unprepared to handle a legitimate warranty issue. For a brand claiming to sell “luxury massage chairs,” their customer service felt anything but.

Chiropractic Office Review

Chiropractor review. BRUTAL customer service experience. I have been trying for 7 months to find a replacement remote for my Osaki Titan chair that I brought brand new. They ignored so many emails pleading for a response or acknowledgement. The remote broke in less than 3 months. The chair didn't have a warranty (no clue about warranty at time of purchase). Not the end of the world one would think. But they will not service or sell parts for any chair without a warranty or unless you purchase from a specific company. It took SEVEN months for me to learn this. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. Do NOT buy from this company. Go get a Human Touch chair. Much better quality and much better service. I should have never tried anything different than Human Touch in the first place. I have had many of theirs for many years and they have been infinitely easier with service, etc. Buyer beware!!! Learned my lesson the hard way and now have a stationary chair that used to do massages (for 3 months). That was a very expensive 3 months of use.

Fantastic Osaki Customer Service

We ordered an Osaki Titan Pro Commander back in September 2022. We love the chair, it's fantastic. Unfortunately in the last few months it's had issues with returning to the original position from the Zero Gravity position. We called Osaki's customer service, and Roman, one of the agents, was extremely patient and kind to diagnose on the first phone call that we would need an Actuator replaced. It took us another day to realize that we had bought the chair via Amazon's third-party supplier: Spreetail, and the warranty would be through them. Spreetail then claimed that they have a maximum 30-day warranty period, and that they aren't responsible for anything. I reached out to Osaki and asked them if we can purchase the Actuator from them, and instead of charging us for the part they sent it to us kindly for an unbelievably low cost, out of kindness. Thank you so much to Roman, Alfonso, and Jeffrey for all your help & for referring the technicians to help us with the fix!

Avoid Osaki and Titan Chair

I brought Otamic LE 3D last year, and within one year I needed to request repairs four times. The Service Department said it is unusual, but they charge for labor for repair. I suggest that everyone look for other choices unless you don't mind paying for repair many times.

The Worst!

I'm 72 years old and it is the worst company I have ever had dealings with. First chair quit working in 5 months. They sent a cheaper replacement that I gave to a friend because it was to small. I picked out a third chair for double the money. It quit working in 12 months and they tried for 3 months to fix it. They decided to return the chair for a partial refund. The company has no organization. Warranty department has no idea what the sales department and the sales department has no idea what the warranty department is doing. My time trying to work with Titan chairs I had to deal with Roman, Recardo, Kyle, Brian, John, Kim, Jenn, Clintpn and two different Michaels. Not one of these people could answer a question without putting me on hold to ask someone else and I could always get a different answer when calling back another time. One thing they would never do is get Michael Cao, the owner, on the phone. I am so glad to have Titan chairs out of my life.

I would avoid like the plague

I would avoid like the plague, unless you want to throw away $3,000. Purchased a chair through this company. The chair was broken within fifteen minutes of being set up. Called customer service---who was SO rude by the way--and after arguing with her she agreed to have a tech out to fix it. Shockingly (ha!) that did not happen. Now they are saying they have no record of my complaints or of the chair being reported broken even though I have call logs (starting on the day of delivery), emails, as well as chat on their website. Once that 300 lb chair is in your home it becomes your broken problem. Do not buy from them as they will sell you a faulty/broken product and then follow up with horrific customer service!
