Time Talk crap company crap customer service

this company (time talk ) is dodgy ...when you contact them they tell you they are virgin ...their customer service is disgusting ...their internet speeds are very slow as you are supplied with a crap router with the worst range ....Also they attempted to charge a 20 pound late payment every month . recently we just had enough of their crap service and swapped .....i'd recommend avoiding this terrible company

Terrible

Do not use this company!! I cannot stress this enough!

I set up internet with them, they than rang me back saying they could not set it up for another month, so I canceled there and then, with no charge of course.

Two weeks later they took 50 pounds out of my account. I rang them up and explain the situation, I was told I would get a refund... but in 14 days... Called them 3 more times over the the past two months and still no money.

Today they emailed me saying I owe them another 69 pounds for the router they never sent!!!!

would love to sit down with the owner of this company

Extremely Misleading

I phoned up Sky about my broadband not working and while talking to sky i was told i could save money on a new package at £17.99 a month. I said ok and little did i know i was changing ISPs, there was no mention of this. I received texts from time talk and emails with all the terms and conditions. About 18 hours later sky sent me a message about cancellation fees. I will be refunding this within 24 hours of it happening.

Avoid them like the plague

Well where do I start? At first I thought I'd joined talk talk until I started to receive texts saying time talk, didn't read too much into it as thought it was same company. It weren't until things start going from bad to worse and alarm bells started ringing. They are nothing to do with talk talk, this made me search trust pilot and I wish I had done before I went with them. Was promised connection with in 14 working days, 19 days later and engineer comes out to tell me they can't connect me as I needed a new BT line connected, I thought ain't that what your here for? I get told by engineers they could get someone out to me as quick as that same week. To then hear nothing and yet again I got to chase them, oh may I add that not once in 2 months did I receive a call from them, keep getting emails and texts to contact them, they obviously ain't paid their phone bill. Then I get told I'm waiting to hear from BT engineers and will take 5 days. When they come out to install the line I then would have to wait another 5 days for someone else to come out to connect me. Couldn't believe what I was hearing. By this time I'd already researched them on here and decided to cancel my contract on 19th July, was told I'd get a refund in 5-7 working days 2 weeks later still no refund, ring them up AGAIN on hold for 30 mins, and get told it wasn't raised and I now have to wait 10 working days. During this ordeal I rang Virgin and they sent someone out and connect me within days.time talk was just too good to be true, and would of probably experienced slow internet connection etc. It's worth paying that bit more for a better service all round. Let's see if I have to chase my refund again?

I myself work for Dreams with a trust pilot rating of 9.3 which is down to great customer service and that's out of over 7500 reviews. Maybe you should take a leaf out of our book. Look after your customers. They pay your wages/bills.

Terrible company

Lack of communication
Poor customer services (Well... One agent)
Non-refundable deposit on cancellations within given time period
Misleading advertisement on Google (the only reason that they got such a high rating is because they got me to fall for it. Well done "Sky" Time-talk)

TOTALLY AND DELIBERATLY MISLEADING

I AM 70 YEARS OF AGE AND WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY SKY BROADBAND/TELEPHONE ETC. I WAS GIVEN A NUMBER, BY A FRIEND, TO RING SKY AND WHEN IT WAS ANSWERED A MAN COMPLETELY HOODWINKED ME INTO BEKIEVING I WAS TALKING TO SKY. EVEN WHEN HE ASKED FOR MY BANK DETAILS AND I SAID: "WHY? YOU HAVE THESE ON MY SKY ACCOUNT". HE SIMPLY SAID IT WAS A NEW PRODUCT THAT WAS SAVING ME MONEY. I DID NOT REALISE I HAD SIGNED UP TO THIS COMPANY UNTIL I STARTED GETTING TEXTS I HAVE ASKED THE COMPANY TO REVIEW THE RECORDING TO SEE HOW DISHONEST THE SALESPERSON WAS BUT HAVE RECIEVED NO REPLY.

Terrible call experience. Ongoing issues.

I have recently switched phone and broadband providers to Timetalk, having mistakenly called them instead of TalkTalk and being informed they could save me around £20 per month on my package. The reason I was calling was to request an engineer to the property to repair a phone line which had been snapped in a farming incident. Timetalk assured me that although they couldn't organize an engineer visit right-away, they would send out a welcome pack in the post containing my customer number. Once I had received this welcome pack I was to call them again, quoting my customer number, at which point they could get the engineer visit organized. Unfortunately it wasn't this simple as after almost 2 full weeks of waiting, the letter had still not arrived. I called Timetalk again to enquire why I had not received this letter. After 20mins of waiting I got through to a representive who informed me after taking my details, that I had reached the wrong department (technical enquires) and redirected my call to general enquires. General enquires answered after 20mins, and then later directed my call back to the Technical Enquires group which took a further 20mins of waiting. At this point I had been waiting for an hour, only to be redirected back to the original team I had spoke with. They had apparently sent the letter and didn't know why I hadn't received it, but assured me that they would now send all the details of the letter via email. They verified my email address with me, and sent the email. 4 days have passed since, and I'm still awaiting the email... Anyway, the also informed me in that same call that as my account with them was not yet active, and would not be until Monday 11th July (today), that I should call back on Monday and they would be able to organize an engineer visit then. Skip to today, and I have just gotten off the phone to their technical services team (after only 15mins of waiting this time). I have been informed now that as my line is not yet active, and will not be until "any time today" that it is best I call back tomorrow (Tuesday 12th July) to organize the visit then. As my landline is not working all these calls have been made at heavy expense from my mobile! Their customer service/technical service teams don't seem to communicate with one another at all as I have received mixed messages throughout my ongoing experience. I have yet to even get my package up and running and already the level of issues I've had with this company makes me wish I'd never switched. I hope I eventually manage to organize an engineer visit and get the services I'm not paying for.

DO NOT TOUCH THIS PROVIDER

I have had nothing but issues with this provider - they take money off you without notice, they do not give you the correct information once you have eventually got through to them on the phone - which is always at a least a 20 minutes wait.
When they sell you the service it sounds wonderful, but they absolutely cannot deliver !!!! I thank my lucky stars I'm now no longer with them - the company should be shut down totally !!!
Be careful when you cancel - they take money in advance so you end up paying for 2 months worth of service you don't get !!!! DO NOT TOUCH THEM.

Heartless Unethical

My grandad was extatic when he signed up with timetalk telling me how he was going to save so much money which he was going to put aside for his 50th wedding anniversary trip.

That was 6 weeks ago and still hasn't had any service from timetalk. He has been told that if he cancels his subscription then he would be charged around 50 quid for doing so. My grandad was trying to save money not p*** it up the wall for nawt.

I'm still in talks with them about cancelling the services without charge as they haven't provided the services. I will be referring this dispicable heartless company to OfCom.

Grandad is now very upset and still without broadband.

Honest advice is to avoid these so called humans at all costs and save your money and your heart from all the stress

Appalling service

Do not go anywhere this company. No phone or broadband for 8 weeks and still awaiting for original phone no back .Although BT have made a series of errors the support from Timetalk has been non existent and they then tried to bill me for money I did not owe (accounting error) and threatened me with cancellation fee. The phone system is terrible involving wait times of up to 30 minutes to then be transferred to someone else which takes another 15 minutes. Only once has anyone rung me to supply information where as I have been calling several times a week to get nowhere. I wrote a formal complaint and received no reply. Timetalk should be shut down

Delighted with my new package!

I called Timetalk a few weeks ago as my broadband with Sky seemed expensive despite being with them for years. I was offered a much better deal, I got fibre instead of standard broadband for less money and they gave me a tv package too and all for £42. To be honest I thought it was too good to be true. The TV is a bit different to Sky but after a couple of days getting used to it I've got all of the sky channels and more and it's half the price. Very happy!

It's a scam

The worst company full of liers. You are scammed into buying a product that it's absolutely rubbish. When returning products they didn't refund when they said they would. They took out a set up charge of £30 and another £71 for boxes. And when they said they wouldn't charge for cancellation fee they stole it out of my set up account which I asked them to delete when I had given them a new account to take direct debt from. They didn't delete the account and took out another £237. They said my package would only be £39 a month. I ordered the service on the 12th April 2016 and I had a 14 cooling off period. I didn't get the service until 26th April. I was told an engineer would come out to me so I took the day off work for this engineer but he didn't turn up. When I rang they told me I had to set up myself no engineer was coming. I rang to complain about the tv and the broadband as the box would not connect and the wifi on phones wouldn't work upstairs. They told me to give it chance for a week I asked about cooling off period and they told me not to worry as there would be no charge. A week later when I contacted them to cancel they said there was a cancellation fee of £235. When I refused to pay the cancellation fee they stole it out of the account I had previously told to delete when I transferred over to the direct debit account.

I strongly warn anyone that is thinking of joining TimeTalk (Supanet/appy tv) not to take up there services. You will be robbed!!!

They have left me overdrawn on my account. They didn't care that I was heavily pregnant and was causing anxiety and stress. I am now admitted with high blood pressure and complications which they caused.

Terrible experience

Joined this company late Jan..for fiber broadband, wanted to change to something with more speed and stability...I was supposed to be live on Feb 8th engineer came around told me we weren't in fact live so there was nothing he could do. The next day we were live but the engineer hadn't installed anything so we couldn't use the internet at all. Called Taimetalk took 45 mins to get through..they told me it would cost me £254 to send the engineer back out to us....after some heated talks they said they would sort things out...over the next two weeks still no internet to use and so many calls to time talk each time with the same promise..that we would indeed be able to use the internet ....end of the month arrives they take their monthly fee and we have now had 3 different modems to which none worked as they promised...internet was up and now running but at speeds worse than what we had before with sky on normal broadband..17mb.....we were and still are getting upto 8mb during the day and between 12 midnight and 1 am it does go to 30 mb but only for a few mins...every afternoon it actually goes offline at 2-230... my wife and I have phoned them so many times and always we get the same response..they will monitor the line and get back to us...they don't....so more phone calls and then same ole answers even after we tell them this it doesn't change...so I wrote to them via email complaints dept....2 weeks for a response..the response had nothing to do with my complaint...so complained again...2 weeks later and answer...this time a little better but not great..so emailed them again...no response.....so wrote to ofcom and still waiting for a response from them......switching providers now and had to pay £255 for early charges ...then they want another £30 for this next month which I won't be with them...Terrible company terrible service will never recommend them...total waste of time and money...seeking more actions

Good Speeds

Was worried after reading the reviews, but signed up for 40 meg fibre optic and am getting 38 even at night times which is a big improvement over what I was getting with BT which used to slow down significantly.

Was kept up to date by text and got my router a couple of days before I switched so everything went smoothly.

Thus far am pleased with the service.

BROADBAND TV & PHONE LINE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

I called Talk Talk to pay my bill but accidentally called time talk, I spoke to a gentleman who advised me my bill was expensive and he could do the same package for £36.00 a month. I told the gentleman that I was tied into a contract with talk talk for the next 12months, the gentleman assured me that he had a template letter I could send to Talk Talk and it would waiver any cancellation fees, I agreed he sent me the letter and I forwarded it on to Talk Talk. I now have a bill off talk talk for £271.00 cancellation fees.
The gentleman promised me speeds of 38-40mbg… I doubled check with the gentleman BEFORE I EXCEPTED CHANGING that I would be able to use two ps4 for on line gaming and tv without any interruptions and that it would be faster than talk talk after explaining to him the problems I had been having with them, he said most definite… I am receiving speeds of 1.6 not even enough speed for one ps4 to go online.
The gentleman also said I need to pay £56.00 for an engineer to visit the property and set the service up on the 11th March 2016, I took a day off work nobody showed up.
I Called time talks customer service who advised me no engineer had been arranged to set the service up I have to do it myself . (SO WHAT WAS THE 56.00 FOR)
On the 11th March 2016 the broadband and the phone line went live, ( no tv) it was clear then the speeds where nowhere near as advised, my kids where complaining and only one child could use his ps4 online gaming and then after 10minutes he was chucked off as the speeds where so bad. I called the engineer from time talk who advised this package should have never have been sold to me as the best speed I could get was 1.6mbg.
After 10 days my Tv arrived. I set it up, really forward to it, as I hadn’t had any tv for 2 weeks and it didn’t work. Yet again I called time talk to be told because the speeds of my internet it wouldn’t be possible for me to have the tv.
( yet it was sold as package )

I called there complaints department to cancel my services as no tv and speeds of 1.6 NO WHERE NEAR 38-40 MBG I just keep getting fobbed off with early cancellation fees…
I RANG THERE ENGINEERS ON THE 26THOF MARCH AS I HAD NO INTERNET AT ALL TO BE TOLD THEY WOULD SEND AN ADDITIONAL ROUTER…. TODAY IS THE 5TH APRIL STILL NO ROUTER….. so no internet or tv now …..I have rang bt, ee and sky and none of these providers can offer fiber in my area so I don’t understand why TIME TALK can.
EVERYTIME I CALL WHICH TODAY IS THE 9TH CALL IT TAKES 1HR 10 MINs to get through
THIS PACKAGE WAS MOST DEFINATELY MISSOLD
I HAVE ALSO RECEIVED A BILL FOR £85 WHEN I WAS ASSURED BY APPY TV THAT THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THE TV – AND THAT THE BROAD BAND WOULD COME DOWN TOO £17.75 AMTH….
I HAVE NOW GONE TO OFCOM WHO ARE SORTING THIS OUT...
STAY AWAY FROM TIME TALK AS THEY ARE JUST A WASTE OF TIME .
11/06/16
TOOK MY COMPLAINT TO CISAS AND TIMETALK CALLED ME AND CANCELLED ALL CHARGES..... DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY A BEAN THEY THINK PEOPLE WILL JUST PAY WITH THERE BULLYING TACKTICKS GO TO CISAS (DONT PAY)
