If you are serious about your company’s structure and your personal privacy, avoid using Tide for company formation. While they market convenience, their system is incredibly automated and rigid. Also they're customer service response rates are awful - you'd be lucky to hear back within 4 hours.
I found it impossible to customize my share capital (they restrict you to just one share, which is useless for future planning) and, most concerningly, their system offers no flexibility regarding privacy. They would not allow me to remove my middle name or shield my residential address, which is a major security and brand concern as these details become part of the public record forever.
I wasted a significant amount of time trying to work within their 'one-size-fits-all' box. I switched to Capital Office Ltd and the difference was night and day. They provide a truly bespoke experience, affordable packages, and prestigious London addresses that actually protect your privacy. Don't settle for a bank's automated sidebar service; go to the experts at Capital Office instead.

Customer support is essentially non-existent. I received my first payment into my account with no issue, but the next two payments—meant for materials—have been held with no proper explanation.
When I finally did get a response, I was told the payments are “being processed,” but it’s now been well over 48 hours. That’s simply not acceptable—processing should not take this long, especially when it’s affecting my ability to run my business.
There’s no clear timeframe for when the funds will actually be released, and getting in touch with support is nearly impossible. I sent a message over eight hours ago and received no reply. You can’t open another chat, and the phone lines go unanswered.
It’s incredibly frustrating—how is anyone supposed to operate a business without access to their own money? The lack of communication, delays, and poor support make this a very unreliable service.
