Bought a ticket which AFTER i bought…

Bought a ticket which AFTER i bought it, revealed a change of airport in one transit city of over 60km in a too small time window. Tranfer of course not included!

Some sites mark this clearly red, so you are aware - BEFORE you buy. In the ticket i was sent it was marked red. Too late.

Support then, while very polite and nice in the indian call center, didn't process the case and first after calling them again (30min phone cue) said this was due to technical error that the case had not been processed. The demand for extra support fee was quick an efficient though.

Finally - many days later, new ticket was offered. Of course ridiculously more expensive.

I had suggested an alternative route they also offered at a similar price, but they picked the most expensive fix. Could have booked a much better flight at this price.

Technically, I should have been more careful when booking, not trusting what I assumed standard from better crafted sites. That aside, this was a stressful and very expensive lesson I will not forget and will avoid tickets.com in the future and I would not recommend others not to use them.

So, BE AWARE: Traps in offers, poor support and solid extra expenses if you need to change what you were fooled to buy (not counting support fee).
