Suddenly all my uploads are gone. So disgusting and awful.

Total scam. Like many others here I bought 2TB of lifetime storage and then uploaded 40gb of photos. Now my login isn't recognised and I have had no response from 'support' for over a month. I assume my photos are now gone. There is certainly no service or storage available.
Total SCAM. AVOID.

How can other reasonably reputed websites peddle this scam.
I bought lifetime 2TB storage. Now , I can't login and the site says my username email doesn't exist.
This is pure SCAM. The worst thing is the files I have lost, apart from the money of course.
If anybody knows how to register complaint to appropriate US authorities, please let me know.

Took my money and I got nothing. Site does not work. I can't login. No one answers emails. Chat box always says back in a few hours. THIS IS A SCAM.

I don't think it is possible to make a worse product. My money is gone, sunk into dark hole as unfathomable as this utterly useless service.

The entire service it's a mess: painfully slow upload (more than 15 minutes for a 300 MBytes upload?!), painfully slow (or unavailable) download / view, no apps, no sync, no versioning, no real file manager, no anything useful.

And, of course, no customer support!

I have about 65 gigs of media, uploaded in background during several weeks (?!), which, now, I consider lost data through thunderdrive.io service.

Worst 60 bucks ever spent!

worst service ever from the thunder dive, i have problem uploading files and the same i send couple of e-mail and no one responded to resolve the issues.

I purchased the lifetime 2GB deal in 2019. Trying to upload book and music files, I would find that files were missing after uploading one or more files. Other times, I would try to find the folders I had uploaded and they just wouldn't be there.

Fast forward to June 2021, I tried the same exercise, after uploading 4 folders (multi-select and drop on the drive page, it'd take quite a while to upload the files, but eventually, it'd say it was done. I went through those 4 folders on Thunderdrive (this time the folders WERE created) and checked each folder. I found one folder with 10 of the 12 files that I had selected, another with 9 of 10 files selected, the others were OK. A few hours later, I went to the site and no folders (even those from 2019) showed up. I killed Chrome and retried, then I rebooted and retried, nothing...

The next morning all the folders showed up, but with the files missing as previous explained.

There are no error management protocols, no logging, none of the features that the others mention, and nothing has changed since 2019.

I'm stuck with it since I bought the lifetime edition, but you don't have to be.

BTW, the last time I left a negative review, Thunderdrive challenged it, and even when I sent receipts for the purchase to TrustPilot, they would not restore my review. I expect the same of this review.

SCAM ALERT

BOUGHT THIS DURING PROMOTION SALE IN STACKSOCIAL. NOW THEY HAVE DELETED MY ACCOUNT AND I CAN'T LOGIN. NO RESPONSE FROM THE SUPPORT.

The website is not reachable anymore. Seems it came to the end of life.

I purchased a "Lifetime Subscription" to this site for a deeply discounted rate a few years ago. 3 weeks ago I tired to log in and it said I didn't have an account. I emailed the support and have heard nothing back and this seems to be common practice from now reading other reviews.

You never get the service they mention. There is no guarantee that you could upload the files when you need. It says the file has been uploaded, but it was not. There is no guarantee that you could download your files as their service is not available 24/7.

AVOID! SCAM!

For this price i will put the right words : a life time subscription for 2TB will cost at least ten times more at other hosting companies. Having said this you should not store critical data or docs here. There is regular out of service periods like 2 tot 5 days a month. So if you use it as real back up storage it will do the job (and you can wait few days to access your files) i have a subscription lifetime 2tb and using now 950GB

This company has proved themselves to be dishonest business people.
In addition to the other true reviews about this cloud service, I'd like to add to the truth. I also bought 2 TB lifetime storage through Stack Social a few years ago. When I started to fill up 1 TB of my account, their website constantly refused to receive files (uploaded files didn't appear on the cloud) and most of the time, it only displayed "Whoops, looks like something went wrong" on a blank screen when I logged back in.
Their customer service is horrible, almost useless. They always reply promptly to new purchase questions but simply ignore most other emails while they always leave nice words to Trust Pilot reviews that they are willing to assist their users.
Of course you cannot expect much from a 2 TB lifetime cloud at this bargain ($39-59) but at least they should keep their promise.
Be careful with this company.

Update August 2021: Recently, they've marketed a website service via email with the same dirty trick. They claimed to offer a LIFETIME website hosting service for 5 websites at only $59, slashed from $749! Can you believe it? The mentioned site was pagebuilder(.)pro and be careful with this site btw. These brass-necked people never stop deceiving people.

The service does not work. Completed uploads go nowhere and the files don't appear. Some files I have uploaded have just disappeared from my drive. The upload/download speeds are extremely slow.

I sent several emails to Thunderdrive about this. They ignored every single one of them. When I posted a negative review on this site, Thunderdrive commented and said I should contact them. I amended the review to mention that my emails were ignored.

Thunderdrive did not attempt to reach out to me. Instead, they got Trustpilot to remove my reviews. Trustpilot did not give a reason for why my reviews were removed.

ETA: Now I can't even download the files I have stored on Thunderdrive and as mentioned before, they do not respond to emails.

False Promises, Data Unsafe, Unusable download speeds.

Files don't download on a 300 MbPs Connection. and customer support doesn't respond.
