Huw is amazing! He’s been fixing our various plumbing and boiler issues for at least 10 years now and I’ve lost count of the number of people that I’ve recommended him to during this time.
He’s super reliable, very reasonably priced and most important, an excellent plumber. He’s thorough, tidy and generally just a really nice bloke! When he says he cares about his customers he really means it. I’ve also met a couple of the apprentices that he’s taken on over the years to support them at the start of their plumbing careers and been impressed at the care and time he takes with teaching them.

Highly recommend Huw at Thornhill plumbing for boiler repairs. Despite other plumbers saying they couldn’t fix it, Huw diagnosed the problem with my 20 year old boiler, sourced a spare part, quoted for the repair and sorted it. Very pleased.

Huw from Thornhill Plumbing has been our go to plumber for the last 10 years doing everything from boiler repairs and servicing to replacing a broken shower and fixing a leak in our heating system that two other plumbers were unable to find! Huw has done various plumbing jobs for us over the course of more than 10 years including fitting a shower, fitting and regularly servicing our boiler, fitting new taps, removing old plumbing and pipes etc. He has always been very efficient, tidy, helpful, communicative and reliable. Huw’s the best plumber anyone could ask for. Over the past few years, he has helped us in emergencies, ensured our boiler is always safe, upgraded our radiators and more besides, always at a very reasonable price and often at short notice. Huw explains exactly what he’s done, too, which is very useful. We hope we can find even half as good a plumber and heating engineer after he leaves the area.

We’re really going to miss Huw when he moves to Poole. He’s done many repair jobs for us over the year, serviced our old boiler and installed and serviced our new one. Always immaculately done and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Huw to anyone needing plumbing and central heat work

Huw responded at very short notice to replace a leaking central heating valve and actuator, a faulty attic ball cock valve and leaking kitchen sink. Great fast efficient service from Huw and we would certainly recommend him to others and he will be our first call for any future plumbing problems.
