Thieves
I don't even understand how they got my credit card. I tried contacting them via the provided phone number on their website but without any kind of account number I was forced to hit 0 to speak with someone, and was promptly hung up on. Tried a few more times with same result. Had to call my CC company to report the charges are fraudulent and get a replacement card.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam, you have the option to pay $1 to get your results and that sounds reasonable as someone just taking the test for fun. But then they charge you $29.99 recurring every month. I called and asked to cancel and customer support told me it was cancelled, but they never cancelled anything. Also the ai generated 5 star reviews here are sending me right now it’s so obvious they’re trying to look reputable
Company is a scam
Company is a scam. The tests are decent enough, but at the end they ask for $1 which I thought was fair enough. Next day $25US has been deducted from my account for a subscription I certainly didn't sign up for. Now they won't answer the phone, and every time I email them they say my subscription has been canceled and I'll receive my refund in 5 to 10 days...it's been 3 months now.
FRAUD
FRAUD. SCAMMERS! You're best disputing the charge with your credit card. Declare it fraud. If enough people do this, maybe they'll be properly flagged as scammers. Thieves!
Never ever use this company
Never ever use this company. I took their IQ test and selected the $1 box to get the results. I unselected the recurring $29.99 monthly subscription box and just realized I have been billed the last 2 months. Many others have said the same. Don't ever use this company.
Test is fine but they rip you off
This is the review I just left on a post on reddit.
So the craziest thing just happened. I just went through exactly what you described and was wishing I'd found this review before paying the $1. I also unchecked the $29 subscription box and was charged exactly 9 days after the $1. I went on their website and called the number to request a cancelation/refund. I waited 5-10 days like it said and then I waited another 2 weeks. As I was reading this post I decided to cancel my card and get a new number. While I was on the phone with the bank I pulled my account up and literally had just received the $29 refund. I was shocked to say the least. I told the guy never-ending and \* hung up. Right before I made this call I went on the thinkiqacademy and did the refund request over and over until it wouldn't let me do it anymore, then I called the number and requested again there, and then I sent a long ass email about wanting my money back. I didn't stop at sending it once. I sent it probably 40-50 times and then somehow I ended up with a redund.

They say it’s only $1 to read your results but I just found out they’ve been charging my card $29.99 a month for a subscription I NEVER signed up for
If I could give negative
If I could give negative, I would. We signed up for the $1 test but were charged $30. When I tried calling the customer service number, I kept getting disconnected. I’ve been emailing them, but they keep saying I’ll get my refund in 5-7 days. It’s been two weeks, and I still haven’t received anything.
Stay away!
I didn’t even subscribe & it keeps on trying to charge my CC every other day. I even tried to contact their make believe support email. No response. Stay away!
Subscribes to monthly automatically
I did the initial iq test, which was great, it wasn't free, but I was curious and hey, why not, it's only 1.00.
Except it wasn't, even though I specifically chose not to subscribe, I was charged the 29.99 for the subscription. I immediately called customer service and requested to cancel and get a refund. No refund was processed. A few weeks later, I tried calling, but the system requests a customer id that I obviously don't have, because I didn't subscribe. I tried to access my profile, I don't have any information and no email came when I clicked on the forgot password field.
I followed up with a direct email, the response was quick, I was assured that any subscription was canceled (I didn't have any more charges, so I do believe it was canceled) and that any pending charges can take 5-7 business days. I just had to email again because I still don't have a refund. I may have to go through my bank.
Scam, don't do it
Scam.
No matter what you do, there's no way to cancel the "subscription" you never agreed to (even when de-selecting the "subscription/membership" option).
Call your bank, cancel your card and block the transactions because they'll keep coming even if you email/call them. They also ask for your CC details when you ring, which is just suss af.

Don’t fall for the $1 you get your results or pay $29.99 for a monthly subscription. I stupidly selected thr $1 option and they charged me that and then 24 hours later charged $29.99. They don’t answer their phone and now I’m having to go through a cancellation with my bank. I’m 100% certain I read all of the information and had the correct selection highlighted. Total scam!
WASTE OF TIME!
WASTE OF TIME!! You have to pay for your results, but they don't tell you that until AFTER you take the test. I want a refund of the time I wasted on this useless garbage.

Makes you pay at the end and if you do they charge extra fees to your credit card do not take the test.
I took the test
I took the test, paid $1.00 and then they began to attempt to take $29.99 out of account. A subscription that I didn’t want nor consent to.
Think IQ Academy is a scam
Think IQ Academy is a scam. I never intended to subscribe — I just took a $1 IQ test, but they charged me a $29.99 monthly fee without my clear consent. When I tried to cancel, it was difficult to find a way. If this happens to you:
How many people have fo get scammed??? …
I agreed to the $1.00 (usd) charge and was sure to click on the no subscription, just result option and was charged $29.99 the next day. I sent an email to cancel. Yesterday, I was charged an additional $29.99 for another month!!! I have requested to cancel again.
The test isn't great, and I had no intentions of purchasing a subscription when I took the test or when I paid the $1.00 for results.
