I’m writing to congratulate the driver whoever they were I followed along the A50 on the 2nd of April around midday, although the vehicle was showing a trade plate and so was empty, the driving was a fine example of observant,courteous and a pleasure to witness these days, Fine recruitment policy at WP surely.
I have just driven from Ashbourne to the A50 with one of these lorries do close to me I was shaking with fear. I drive at the legal speed limits. I let him overtake me when we got into the A,50 to get the name of the company only to find its transporting fuel!!!!!!
UPDATE. Definitely your logo. I notice from your website that you have a fuel depot in Birmingham and supply to Edinburgh airport.. The number plate on the front was different to the rear which was a red trade plate. I have sent you the details of the registration number and a description of the driver by email

Further to our recent phone call, we were sorry to hear about your experience involving a fuel tanker on the A50 last week.
As discussed, WP Group has never owned the vehicle in question.
We have conducted an internal investigation with our service provider, who has confirmed that the vehicle is owned by them. At the time, it appears the vehicle was towing one of our former trailers, which was sold to them at the end of last year and is currently in the process of having our livery removed.
While the trailer still displays our branding, I can confirm that the vehicle itself has never belonged to us, and the driver is not employed by our company.
We have provided you with the details of the company involved should you wish to take your complaint further.
In light of this information, we would appreciate it if you would consider removing your post.

We take safety concerns seriously; however, we do not operate in the Ashbourne or A50 area. Is it possible there may have been a mistake in identifying the operator, as several fuel transport companies have similar-looking vehicles.

I have used WP for years and have always had excellent service. When I rang to order more fuel and was told it could be three weeks before delivery I was disappointed but in fact I received delivery inside a week. Faith restored!

Have been a customer of WP for many years -(10?) and in the last years every order with them is now delayed / cancelled by them at short notice.
This latest order was booked for Thursday, then moved to Friday (we had to chase) - then moved to the following Monday and a promised weekend confirmation didn't happen, so I strongly suspect our oil isn't coming today either. Doesn't matter whether you book with Alex or Romesh - both are as unreliable as the other. What has happened to this compnay?

Can’t give a lower rating unfortunately.
This company is everything a company shouldn’t be.
Used them in the past for 20yrs+ but changed when they started to be uncompetitive.
Thought I’d give another chance and so placed an order with them at a competitive price.
Big mistake.
After waiting 2 weeks for delivery and chasing them 3 times I finally get told yesterday it was coming today.
So having waited in all day I chase again only to be told they can’t give me a date… what?
This company has serious management problems.
Do not use if you don’t want to run out of oil.

A heating oil delivery this morning. The driver arrived earlier than expected and left everything tidy before I came to open farm gates etc. Didn't know there was a delivery until I checked the tank!
Have bought heating oil and fuel for Bioplex Ltd from Wessex and now WP Group since 1997. They continue to provide outstanding service at a reasonable price.

They never deliver on time, constantly break promises, their line is we are having Operational Issues every time. Takes a least a week to reply to emails. Having been let down on 3 occasions, they will not get a chance to make it a fourth.

Generally the service is fine but I do have to ring to get a price, despite being a customer of over 30 years. I have a monitor to transmit the oil level but sometimes it gets a bit closer to need that I would like. Very pleasant telephone people who always come back and give me information I request.

We are a care home provider with an oil supply contract with WP Group with telemetry yet again we have run out of oil.
The companies website says they cab supply in an emergency but do not provide any contact details. The service they provide is incredibly poor. If we operated our business with the same lack of customer care or focus we would be closed down. Incredibly disappointed.
