I have been buying produce from The Village Butchers for 5 years or so and have been very happy with their products and service until now alas the last 4kg batch of lamb was around 10% to 12% fat rind.I had to trim this off. Not cool .

Pork butt ordered for my first go at pulled pork on my new kamado, turned out fantastic, perfect cut of bone in shoulder great service arrived perfectly chilled and on time second time using village butchers, going to order very soon.

It's not like we have ordered loads of meat from TVB, but what does matter is quality. Quality is important to us, and quality is exactly what we receive, not just the meat, and the meat is perfect, everything from ordering to delivery, packaging it's on time and very well packed to reach us in premium condition. Communication is excellent as well. All in all TVB is our go to site when ordering meat for a special occasion where quality really counts

Got 2 cote de boeuf 1kg because they were on special offer. Wanted to try a new online butcher because the one I normally use has stopped trading (Donald Russell).

I will definitely not be taking my business to The Village Butcher, the meat was chewy, way to fatty and full of gristle on the first one - I'm making a slow cooked curry with the second one so I can cook it for a long time to try to dissolve the fat and gristle.

I was weary at first using a Butchers 100 miles away,but I've now used The Village Butchers on 4 occasions,I've purchased,beef,lamb and chicken in various cuts and in each case the meat has been superb,it arrived superbly packed with icepacks delivered by courier,most importantly of all,the meats are high quality and taste is wonderful,much better than supermarket meat,I personally cannot fault,great taste and great quality

This is my go-to butcher for meat delivery.
Meat is of high quality and at a reasonable price. Service is good and the meat is well wrapped and chilled when it arrives.
The only small improvement might be to extend the range a little and to improve the quality of the pies, even if this means making them more expensive.

Ordering really easy, date picked pies arrived well packed and frozen. Highly recommend

Very good quality.

The meat was really nice. I ordered ribeye and sirloin steaks. The ribeye were particularly good. The delivery was fine. It came through DPD, well packaged and in the 1 hour time slot.

The products are excellent. The only downside (Nothing to do with the retailer) is that DPD has managed to disrupt two out of my last three orders. But otherwise 100%

This company uses DPD as its deliver service, and DPD have let them down.
the driver left the parcel outside our gates thats almost on the road.
well we didnt find out till the next morning. by which time everything has melted.
i have been notifying Village Butchers for three day, via phone and e mail, and no reply.
i wanted to know if the food was still edible.

Order delivered a day late and the meat had already defrosted. Poor quality diced lamb full of fat.

I have ordered a few times now and I can honestly say that I haven’t had any issues. The meat is as described, reasonably priced and delivered on time. Would highly recommend.
