Straight away, if you do not want to pay twice

This Person Jared Corry is a total ripe off.
This company is a total ripe off. Sold me parts claiming to be new, which was not. Mechanical work and installation was poorly done.

After vehicle been removed from his garage not less than a week, spark plugs flooding, black smoke from exhaust, misfiring , back firing
several problems that he couldn’t rectify and was wanting to charge extra money for his incompetency.

• Poor Workmanship

• Outdated Deface Megasquirt ecu and parts

• do your research on this person there are several information out there about him.

• his quotes and estimations would look really attractive at first but believe me after his done, you will have to pay 3x more to get this junk removed as no other technician will want to touch it.

• do you research call around the industry and find out if people are willing to work with the megasquid ECU? And do mention Jared from megasquirt NZ.

If you would like do you have your vehicles devaluated then this workshop is were you go.

Got a Megasquirt ecu a installed by Jared, at first all his emails and correspondence made me believe this person was quite knowledgeable.

Got a quotation which was accepted and vehicle was dropped off at his workshop.
Where the problem started was when I received my vehicle back with several damages to Paint job & body.

parts installed was not what was quoted and what was quoted as new were second hand parts. Quality of workmanship was extremely poor.

Faced several problems within a week of the vehicle exiting his workshop. when made contact regarding problems and requested to address them, Jared requested upfront payment to have a look at his work.

This person is not a honourable man and would stay away at all cost.

Eventually had to rip out his ECU & engine loom and have a Link ecu installed.

He also operates under megasquirt nz Ltd.

Total ripoff

Total ripoff. stay away at all cost. Parts and megasquirt ecu was secondhand. To make matters worse wiring looked like it was done by a 13year old.

When I asked to get a refund he charged me restocking fee.

Same director of megasquirtnz.co.nz Jared josph Coory.
