I was drawn in by the shop appearance: Spacious and modern shop layout - very clean and airy. I liked the open desk feature -it seemed to contribute to a friendly and approachable feel.
Special thanks to Carly, the cheerful and highly knowledgeable staff member who helped me today - she swiftly sorted the issues I had - in minutes.....She gave me her time without making me feel I was a nuisance - was very efficient and above all, showed sympathy and understanding - and was not at all condescending towards my clear lack of basic knowledge - I was in and out in minutes - thank you very much - I can definitely recommend this great little business.

Had a wonderful experience this morning with Ryan in store. He was very patient and informative. I had taken my grandfather in to inquire about fixing a phone and he was very kind and talked us through our options and was extremely kind and very honest 😇 need more people like him in the world. My grandfather was very impressed with his level of customer service.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Sorted the problem promptly and with no fuss. It's the second time I've used these guys and I'll never go anywhere else. They may be a little more expensive but you won't be fixing your phone twice like has happened to me when I used a cheaper place.

rip offs asking 125 for a screen repair when i can go elsewhere and get it done for 65 with the exact same service and warranty

Went into Barnstaple branch, my phone was stuck on the log in screen.
I was at the bus station awaiting a bus when I realised....all tickets were on the phone and bus due in 10 mins.
These guys sorted my phone, didnt charge me and I caught my bus!

Sold a phone to Thetechout, once received, tested and given the OK I was informed that I would receive payment within two working days, so four working days later I emailed them askign for payment.
I received an email stating that I would receive payment by 6pm that same day, three days later I've emailed them again.
I've told them to return the item I sold to them in good faithe otherwise I would seek legal action.
Not sure if its poor organisation, poor management, just plain lying or not caring.
This is the first time I have used Thetechout, it will be my last.

Booked in after work at a rather awkward time. Stayed slighlty after their closing time to get my battery sorted. great service and a nice team, didn't get their names but from what i understand they are the usual team. replaced my old cracked screen protector in seconds too. Will definitely be back if i have any more problems with my tech.

Walked in and got immediate help with my daughter’s phone. Just required a clean of charging point. Excellent and honest service.

This week,problem with pc loading photos, sorted. We have had two mobiles from The Techout, both excellent. Decided to upgrade so chose Samsung S23 Ultra. Absolutely delighted, excellent condition, best camera on a mobile that I have had,pull ups on small birds ,butterflies etc are ace.For a small fee all data has been very efficiently transferred. My log in codes were very muddled but that was sorted in about 1 minute.Thank you,its a pleasure to have you as locals .A credit to our area.

Went in as my phone wasn't charging. The lady was happy to help and she made it a quick five minute job and now my phone is fine. Really helpful, will definitely use again. Thank you!

Despite a technical glitch with their automated messaging resulting in a seeming lack of communication, I finally got my screen replaced today. At the same time, Carly arranged to transfer all my data over to a newer phone. When I went to collect both phones, she took the time to ensure that everything was working as it should on the new phone and said if I had any problems to pop back in for help. It certainly made things much easier with someone who knows what they're doing!
Very happy with the service today and would recommend The Techout.

Went in this morning to see if they could fix a problem with my charging port that the 3 shop could not fix and would have changed nearly 100 quid to send of to get done, at the shop they managed to clean out the port of all debts and now it all works perfectly and didn't cost me a penny what brilliant service would recommend

Came in with my phone screen just being glitchy and not working properly. Sorted it out within minutes and didn't charge me.

Really lovely store aesthetically and the staff in there are superb. I went in with an issue with my phone and even though it wasn't something they could fix the man I spoke to was so helpful and gave such great advice. Would 100% recommend the shop, the experts in there definitely know their stuff and great customer service all round! thankyou !
