Customer Service second to none !
Whilst on holiday I broke my Maui Jim sunglasses , having contacted Maui Jim regarding the repair I was directed towards our local The Spectacle Shop in Barnsley .
Although on holiday in Greece I contacted our local Spectacle Shop in Barnsley via e mail and Lucy promptly responded and after a couple of e mails and images of the damage , Lucy has ordered the replacement part and organised for the repair to be carried out upon our return from our holiday .
After sales service like this should be congratulated as it is few and far between these days .

Wouldn't go anywhere else; polite, incredibly effiecient, friendly. A few years ago they spotted an issue that no one previous to TSS had and saved my sight. Today they organised an emergency pair of glasses in one day. Highly recommend.

The best service I’ve ever had from an Optician. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and professional. Their choice of frames outstanding. All their frames are unique and distinctive. I cannot recommend The Spectacle Shop enough. I will never go anywhere else in future.

We have been going to The Spectacle shop for 18 years now, they have a wide range of spectacles and sunglasses to choose from. The team in the shop are friendly and they are very helpful, they always give advice on care and make sure you leave the shop confident in your choice. Highly recommend The Spectacle shop. A relaxed, friendly, casual and non-pushy, experience - all the glasses are top-end, expensive, but highest quality that you'll be appreciating for years such as Salt Optics and Lindberg, so if Highstreet brands like Police, Oakley, Ray Ban and even Tom Ford are your brand, then probably not for you! The range of products range from kooky, 'different', stylish, cool and traditional but always unique - you *will* get asked "I like your glasses, where did you get those from??" The team offer a very knowlegable experience with their own optician. I spent a lot of money and was indecisive at times but I was told, "if you decide when you get home that you don't like them come back to us - we'd rather you have a pair of glasses you like and are proud of, than ones you don't" - their determination for service-perfection is why I have used The Spectacle Shop for 15 years. We have been attending The Spectacle Shop for about 16 years, making over a 30 mile round trip for that privilege. This is a fully bespoke experience in every respect. Earlier this month, the guys fashioned me up a bespoke set of glasses that you will not get anywhere else in this world and they are fabulous. They do this every time I return.

Would not hesitate in recomending, this is the first time visiting and I can not rate high enough. The level of service, knowledge of lens, frames and more importantly taking the time to listen to my needs. The choice of frames is out of this world and will cover everyone's taste from eclectic to the most beautifully designed and crafted frames you could wish for. I can not wait to pick up my new glasses, if you are looking for run of the mill cheap frames that you will see every one wearing this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for iconic, beautifully crafted glasses that will give you a buzz every time you wear them then without hesitation this is the place to visit.
