Great communication and perseverance

DONT USE THESE HIGH COURT ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS I was successful in a employment tribunal, the sheriff's office failed to collect £28.05 of a much larger award by means of a High Court Writ.
Obviously they took all their fees.

Have failed to answer an official complaint

Poor replies to concerns. Lack of understanding of the heartache and anguish of the debtor failing to pay. Poor explanations. Lack of POC . All very anonymous.

I cannot recommend The Sheriffs Office enough. After obtaining a judgement, the defendant didn't engage so I took the decision to appoint a HCEO. After doing a little research (including reading Trustpilot reviews) I chose The Sheriffs Office and couldn't be happier with the outcome after the debt was repaid in full. Start to finish it took less than two months and The Sheriffs Office kept on top of their actions and provided timely updates throughout. Thank you so much.

The Sherriffs achieved The Unachievable.
My experience has been excellent throughout with this company. Previously despite several solicitors letters at more than £200 a time retrieval of money oweing was still not forthcoming until I instructed The Sherriffs. I can never thank them enough.

The sheriffs were the only ones that helped me, when I would message or call the court I would be going round in circles spending a full day on the phone.

Cant recommend this company enough. My husband and I used them to enforce a judgement against a trader who started some landscaping, took a partial payment and left the landscaping unsafe and in a mess and us out of pocket. Despite meetings and promises to fix or repay the money the trader always failed to do what he said. He eventually stopped answering so we took him to court last year and won out claim, but still payment never came. The Sheriff's Office were instructed to collect the debt. setting up was so easy and they handled everything, we didn't need to think about it once handed over to them. Debt repaid quicker than ever expected (and to be honest we thought the trader would find a way not to pay as he was known to fold his companies up when being chased for money), they kept us fully informed even right down to where the debtor had moved to, all contacts with trader were fully detailed so we knew what was going on. My advice is if you are thinking of using this company, do it. We cant believe how easy and simple the process was and we've got our money back. Absolutely brilliant service, thank you so much.

The process of engaging the company was easy and straightforward
I felt communication was good and I had fairly regular email contact with updates
I’ve felt their terms and conditions were fairly straightforward and transparent
Bottom line is they got the job done and recovered all my losses… I’m not sure how they achieve that or what levers they managed to pull, but the person I was in dispute with was very difficult to get my money back from… He did not pay me, even though I had county court judgement against him… He lied every step of the way
Overall, I think this company offer a very professional service…
I would use them again if I found myself in a similar position unreservedly

I opted to use this company as I believed they would be able to recover monies owed to me.
After, what seems like, throwing more good money after bad the Sheriffs Office has now closed my case as the two debtors have ignored all attempts to contact them.
The debtors have the means to pay and I have given details of assets they own that could be seized as payment.
Extremely disappointed and no money recovered to pay the debts I owe.

Have an ongoing case for £2k* + rent owed by ex tenant. It was several weeks before first visit was made and made during time when I had informed Sheriffs office debtor would not be home but at his place of work. Another officer then assigned to case but a few months on and subsequent visits unsuccessful and now gone to communication by telephone and letter only. It is 5 years since County Court Judgement and not optimistic debt payment will be forthcoming and Sheriffs was my last resort.

The Sheriff’s were just brilliant from the lovely Megan at first enquiry answering all my questions, to the brilliant service I received from the local enforcement officers they commissioned. I had regular email updates and my request not to accept any sort of payment plan was really heard and implemented - I received all my money and interest and didn’t pay a penny for their services as it was all added to the bill. I can’t thank them enough
