A vintage Vivienne Westwood jumper that I'd had for twenty odd years got caught in a zipper, leaving a nasty tear. I found The Seam online, and was able to post the details of the repair quickly and easily. I was put in touch with Lyudmilla, one of their experts, who gave me a very reasonable estimate upfront. Sent off the garment registered delivery, and received it back a few weeks later, looking as good as new. Lyudmilla kept me posted on every stage of the process, great communication throughout, and I'm absolutely delighted with her work. Would recommend The Seam to anyone for professional work, ease of use and great customer service.

Diana W has done an amazing job inserting a zip into a fleece hoodie to create a jacket. The care and attention to making the garment look good has been superb. Diana always responds to messages and has been extremely helpful.

Nicola P was fantastic and fixed my jumper brilliantly! It's taken ages for me to get round to writing this review but I was very nervous about sending it off because of it being my favourite jumper. Nicole did an amazing job and fixed my jumper perfectly!

I used this service by The Seam to repair a hole in my husband’s lined sweater. I had thought that it was possibly beyond repair due to the size of the hole. Having contacted The Seam, and after providing an image and détails of the damage I was put in touch was one of their wonderful and skilled clothing repairers.

I simply packaged it up and sent it off. Once it had arrived at its destination I was updated by Theo that it had been received. After they had performed, what can only be described as a remarkable repair, I was once again contacted to let me know the sweater had been dispatched.

My husband (and I) are utterly delighted with the result as it would have cost more than £200 to replace this garment. The hole which was in the middle front of the sweater is almost invisible thanks to Theo’s amazing skill. We would highly recommend this service which was also not overly expensive 🙏

Theo Thomson exceeded all my expectations in invisible mending two moth-eaten cashmere jumpers. I can’t even see where the holes were! I’m so grateful to Theo for bringing these jumpers back to life - thank you Theo for being a wonderful magician!!

Wonderful repair by Eloise Atwell on a much loved silk dress which had frayed underarm. Reasonably priced too. I’ve used the Seam about four times now and would recommend.

Lyudmilla Alves worked her magic on repairing three knitwear items. She was great at communicating and setting expectations. Everything turned out exactly as she described, the invisible repairs are amazing and the items fully restored. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing restoration done by “Katarina Mootich” … my LV trainers were repaired earlier than expected. I was really impressed by the results.

What a great service, sent my boots off to be repaired on the Saturday and they were fixed and sent back to me by the Thursday. Cannot recommend the seam and cobbler, Scott enough!

From start to finish I was truly impressed with the effeciant communication, booking process from customer service through to your chosen craftman. A major plus point, is that you are given a direct line of communication with your chosen craftman, which I found very useful.
I used the services of Elodie, who did an amazing restoration in replacing & and colour matching a classic burberry bag strap and piping which were worn & damaged.
Elodie did a fantastic job with the color match piping and new handle
straps. My burberry bag is good as new! One happy customer!

Lyudmilla made some repairs to two cashmere sweaters for me. The damage was quite significant (or so I thought) but she has made them look like the damage was never there. Amazing workmanship. She has saved me quite a bit of money and brought them back to life. I am truly gobsmacked. I will definitely be using this service again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the seam to other potential customers. Fantastic service, I’m very pleased.

I sent a very old and much loved cardigan off for repairs of multiple holes - both big and small as well as disintegrated cuffs and missing button . Yakshi was fantastic right from the very beginning to the final return of my. Cardy in an almost better than new condition . Communication was amazing and the work done really skillful . I am going to love my cardy for years to come and I feel pleased to have done my bit for the planet as well . Thank you so much to the seam - I recommend to everyone !!

The Seam connected me with Fraser Bruce Miller who mended my two woolen jumpers to a very high quality. I was impressed by how perfectly he had matched the colour and type of wool, to the extent that I couldn’t see any evidence of the previous holes. Money very well spent!

My almost new leather shoes had salt damage which had left one of them with awful red patches. The result of Tessa’s repair has left them looking absolutely superb and better than new. Tessa was a pleasure to deal with and I couldn’t recommend The Seam highly enough. Thank you.

Lyudmilla did a superb job in repairing my OSKA black knitted top. It had previously been unwearable due to prominent moth damage on the front of the garment. Now I shall be able to wear it once again.

I have sent in my merino sweater to repair a small hole.
Although it took a very long time, I have to say that Lyudmila did an incredible job and is the first example of true invisible mending that I've encountered.
