Deceptive trade practices, fruad by design
Based on my experience, the website presents itself as a company that buys houses for cash; however, it appears to operate primarily as a wholesaler. This distinction is not clearly communicated upfront, which can be misleading for sellers expecting a direct cash buyer rather than a middleman.
I also found it concerning that the company’s messaging and associated training materials seem to emphasize strategies that may not fully align with transparent communication to clients. In addition, the business does not appear to be affiliated with Rocket Mortgage, Rocket Homes, or any other “Rocket” branded organization, despite implications that could lead consumers to believe otherwise.
There are further concerns around properties being listed on the MLS without clear seller awareness or consent, as well as instances where property photos may have been obtained under unclear circumstances.
Overall, sellers should take extra care to understand who they are dealing with, verify affiliations, and ensure they are fully informed about the nature of any offers. What may be presented as a fast, straightforward cash transaction could involve additional parties and profit structures that are not immediately disclosed.
